Days 15 and 16/Inspiring story

So I guess that I have been getting my 10 minutes each day. I never really thought about it but I have been walking a lot around campus, up and down 4 flights of stairs in the parking garage, I am just going to count my 10 min each day. Just need to get on the ball with some ST. Maybe start adding a 10 min video as well and get 20 min of cardio each day! I can do that!

Great news! I have been tracking all my food last couple days! WOO HOO

Kids are going to my parents house for the weekend! Taking them up there tonight after their flu shots. Have lots of things to accomplish around her. My backyard looks like a forest!

Days 12-14

Good Morning Everyone! Yeah Day 1 of the BLC challenge starts today! Really need to work my butt of this time! I have to reach my goal. All of these challenges I do I never reach my goals! But this time I will do it! I have to do it! I gained 8 lbs of the 10 I lost! WE ALL CAN DO IT!!!

So I am down a lb today which I am so happy since I have been consistently gaining! I am feeling horrible too, can't wait to get back on track completely and start feeling better again! I miss being able to walk those 5 flights of stairs up the parking garage at school lol...It has been hard doing that this week! I will get there again! Just going to continue progressing as I did when I started here a lil over a year ago!

My measurements were up on a couple and down a couple too. So not going to feel bad that my hips and waist are a lil bigger, just have to look towards tomorrow!

I haven't been tracking my food at all, but haven't been eating horribly or too much. I did get 20 min of exercise on Monday. None yesterday or Sunday but I plan to get some in today. I wanted to wake up early this morning to do it but just couldn't do it. But this evening, I am doing a 10 min SP video I have no ST scheduled for today but I think since I haven't been doing it I am going to work my core a little bit. I am writing this done on my to do list for today!

This link is a google doc showing my new goals...hope it works...this is that I post on my wall next to my desk.

I am going to try and get a lil exercise in today...still working on getting rid of this headache, not working really well. Still congestion, but feeling better each day! Lots of stuff to accomplish this weekend! DH will be gone all weekend so it is just me and the kids. He works tonight 3:30-12 and is going to the game tomorrow with his dad. Which normally would be great and not an issue but since I have been sick all week I have let a lot of things go, so I have tons of housework, homework, and yardwork to do. So whatever I am able to get done, well thats whats going to get done. As long as my homework is done for Monday, well other stuff can wait.

It sounds like you're being realistic for the weekend though. There's now way you can catch up on a whole week's worth of stuff in just a weekend if you're still recovering. You definitely have your priorities straight. Get the school work done, make sure you have 1 clean outfit and a clean coffee cup for Monday morning, and everything else can definitely wait until you feel better. Which I'm hoping will be really soon.

Days 8-10/My fun classes

AAAHHHH tell me someone, how do I read a Spanish book that is mostly in spanish and I haven't taken spanish in 15 years...I thought this class was supposed to act as if you have never taken spanish :/ And I have to sit thru this class 3 days a week...BLAH

Least my Oper. Mgmt class isn't too bad, considering I am not into that type of thing (it is required class). She doesn't give a lot of work-
2 excel assignment (which I am a whizz in) and 3 exams (which the 3rd exam is optional, she will take the average of the first 2 exams if you rec'd good scores)

My accounting class...well ticks me off...1st the instructor hasn't given us a clear syllabus with a calendar so really not sure what we are doing except he told us what is do next week. Apparently he is not so sure either, they are revising the course...I love accoutning and I love numbers, this stupid accounting class is a writing intensive course...BLAH! I have to make an outline for each chapter, which not even sure how he wants that set up. We also had to subscribe to WSJ and each week I have to write summaries on 6 articles using at least 3 different newspapers...

What a semester this will be :P

Anyways Back to the streak

I haven't been exercising or tracking since I haven't been feeling good, I am telling you, I never get a break! I don't think I have been over on my calories, not eating that much, but I will get back on track! I am sure my fellow teddies (Fall 5%) and Venuses (BLC 20) will help with that too!!!

    As a teacher I can say that I would be hard pressed to write a calendar of exactly what we will do in class each day for a semester at a time. So much depends on how quickly students "get it", how many questions there are, etc. Granted I teach jr. high not college, but I can't imagine that part changes much. It does sound like it will be a challenging semester, but once you find your groove again I'm sure you'll do great.

Days 6 & 7

GOod Morning everyone! Well we got back from Chicago last night around 9pm. Evie goes back to school today, Me and Bubbie starts school tomorrow. Chicago was a blast! We gots a tremendous amount of walking in, a good 4-5 hrs each day. I am only going to count the max...2hrs each day. I woke up with a horrible sore throat though, so that is going to make today fun. Today is mine and Jason's 8 yr wedding anniversary :). I can't believe it! Going to go out to dinner I think since we didn't while in Chicago. Well time to get everything else up todate!

Sun & Mon recap :

Saturday
we are having lots of fun@ Legoland is really cool, Took the kids swimming Thank goodness we got the Chicago card, we dont have to wait in lines!!! We could have easily stood in line an hour to get into Lego Land. Wow, what a spectacular day!

Sunday: Left about 7am and just got back about 30-40 minutes ago. Parked down at Navy Peir then took the Hop on Hop off Trolley/Doubledecker Bus tours all over. Such a great tour/narrative we did it twice (plus it takes you to the major attractions for free). We went to shedd aquarium.... We went to the Skydeck (Sears tower) that was awesome. Bubbie jumped up and down on the ledges, Sissy didn't like the sides of the ledge but went out on it. Got some good pics. Then went back to Navy Pier and rode the 150 ft hight ferris wheel, carousel, and some kiddie ride that reminded me of power tower. Thank goodness we had the go card other wise we would have been in major lines like cedar point and disney. Monday after checking out of the hotel we are driving back out and parking downtown and taking the trolley again. We have a 2 day pass, going to American Doll store, the CHEESECAKE Factory, Harley davidison store and just walk the magnificent mile.

We are tired so we decided tnot to go out to dinner. Instead me and my amazing hubby just sat back had a bottle of Champagne enjoyed this amazing city. So glad we got to see it at night too. Just gorgeous!!!!

4-5 hours each day walking, but only counting 120 min each day...FM goal met :)
Nutrion, didn't track but didn't eat bad, probably be under my calories :/

    Wow, sounds like you had an awesome time!!! How wonderful!! Beautiful memories to revisit and enjoy again each time you remember. All the attractions you visited sounded so fun and how great you had passes/cards so you didn't have to wait in the long lines. Those can really be a drag. If I ever get to explore Chicago and not just wait in the airport for a connecting flight like I have I'll know who to ask how to do it all. What a great way to remember your 8th anniversary. Congratulations,, and chilling on the couch with Hubby and bubbly sounds just as nice as a night at a possibly crowded, noisy restaurant. You even got an extra bonus of all those fitness minutes. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!! Hope you feel better soon!!
