Tuesday, May 24, 2011

Yeah me! I made it through the first 2 weeks! I am so proud of myself. I thought that by now I would have given up as usual. This site has really helped keep me motivated to do my best and I have had ALOT of support! Thanks to everyone for their support and the SP coaches!
I cannot wait to see the rest of what is in store for me!

You know, they say it takes about 30 days to make something a habit so you're halfway there. Believe me, if you stick to it and make little adjustments to your lifestyle, you eventually stop thinking about it.

Congratulations! The first two weeks are definitely among the hardest to be consistent. Keep it up!

It's Monday...

Monday, May 23, 2011

So to the end of a busy weekend. Yesterday I didn't track my food at all (except breakfast) . I did have some extra snacking yesterday but it wasn't that bad of stuff. Plus I did good with my portions at dinner. I did get ALOT of cardio in though. After breakfast I did a cardio kickboxing video, then I did yard work for about a half hour, then did some heavy housecleaning, then took the kids out, turned on the sprinkler, and me, the kids and the dog we all ran through it. It was a blast. Just like being a kid again!

The end of the day was horrible but I would rather not get into that today. I don't feel like being depressed and stressed. I am not going to let things get me down anymore (well at least try not too!)

I have a ton of homework, ton of housework, ton of yardwork!!!! There is not enough time in the day to get it all done. I need to realize that I am not a miracle worker and can get only what I can get done, done and move on. emoticon

So I was looking for a chicken recipe off SP site that I could make (and had all the ingrediants already) and I came across Honey Balsamic Chicken. I showed it to me husband (who I thought probably wouldn't like), wow its was incredible! And only 173 cal!!! I made that, rosemary and thyme roasted red potatoes and corn (no salt added). I wish I could have seconds.... emoticon
