The kids and I had a great time bowling today. For their first time they did emoticon. I am so pround of my lil "pro-bowlers". emoticon

I can def still feel where I broke my elbow last March so my scores weren't exactly where they should be but we had so much fun. Def going to do it more often!!

I gained 2lbs. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, getting more muscle or if it is just because TOM is coming. I usually see an increase in weight at the beg of the month around TOM. So I am going to just stop weighing my self around TOM. It just leads to disappointment, no motivation, and discouragement.

Now, do I enter it in the tracker if I am sure it has to do with TOM or just hold off until next week?

Today is going to be specatular emoticon, on top of bad weigh in, its rainy and gloomy today!

On a good note I got my part of the big group assignment in MGMT done last night. Along with my part of the interview questions. Now I just need a manager to fill out the completed questionairre. The one I knew never emailed me back so thats a no go. Now I just have to complete my ACC project, give my suggestions for the small group assignment in MGMT, anther homework assignment in ACC and some chapter readings in all three classes. WOW teachers really know what a break is. This is stuff they assigned for over the break, I am not behind. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I don't agree with not charting your weight just because it happens to be your time of the month. I kicked TOM out years ago so maybe that is why I disagree. To me, though, it would be like me not charting my weight because I ate something salty and was retaining water. I don't use that as an excuse. If I gain, it gets charted. Hopefully it is followed by a bigger weight loss the next week.

    I would weigh yourself again after TOM goes away , i hate how that can mess up your numbers on the scale . You doing great don't let TOM get you down !

    I gain anywhere from 3 to 5 lbs around TOM. I would weigh after than enter it.

    I would say its the TOM I gain 4lbs two day before mine and the day after my TOM it goes away.

Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

I met my goal of making 1 recipe from the SP cookbook. The slow cooker salsa chicken was the best! Everyone loved it! Will make it again! And Again! It was very satisfying, tasty and just WONDERFUL!!!

Next week I plan to make the warm and spicy banana waffles and then choose something else for a dinner next week.

Personal SP Cookbook challenge

Since time is such a challenge for me, I have not been able to read my new cookbook.

My challenge to myself is to read a little bit of it at least once per week and to make 1 recipe starting this week and then each week increase it by 1 additional.

    Good idea! I haven't bought the book yet; in fact only been exposed to SparkPeople for a few days now. One of the things that really stuck out was that so many people have bought the cookbook and making comments (all positive) so now I am just going to HAVE to get one, too. I leave books in the bathroom and read one article (in this case one recipe) each time I go. Otherwise I'd be like you and never get a chance to look through it. At least this works for me. Cheers!

Its weigh in Wednesday

All this time I have been entering my weight as a whole number. Had I have been entering the decimal I would have been seeing that cute little butterfly on my ticker moving down.

2/1 weighed in at 150.8
2/15 weighed in at 150.4
today weighed in at 150.2

I am glad that I figured out that I can enter it like that! So I am getting there. Even know its not a whole number it is still decreasing so I am happy!!! So hopefully next week it will show 149.x then I would be ecstatic!!!

Goal for next week: Lose 1 whole lb
Goal weight for next week: 149.2 lb
