Going backwards, miserably!!!

I have been horrible the last two days. I have been eating good but I am not getting my exercising or any housework done in the last couple days. That evil monthly "visitor" is rapidly approaching and I am miserable! If its not one setback its another. The week before is always the worst for me. Hopefully next week I can get a little more done and be back to normal the following week. I am not going to meet my goal of getting up to 40 min cardio by the end of this week so I am extending it to next Sunday. Not going to get down too much on myself for that one since ahead of schedule on weight loss.

On a good note, got Evie's 7th b-day planned. She is going to have her first "girl" friend party with a bunch of her school friends. Her dance studio hosts b-days (best part I don't have to do anything but enjoy it!). They will learn a dance routine (she chose Tap) and then have cake and ice cream. She wanted a Hello Kitty theme this year. Going to be fun...nothing but little girls...can't wait! Her actual b-day is the 25th and the party is the 29th.

Can't believe she is 7!!! Where did the time go. She wants to get her ears pierced so on her actual b-day we are going to take her. I found some really cute Hello Kitty earring and matching necklace and probaby get her some other little earrings. She is really getting into the girlie things.. I love it!!!!

    Just keep working at it. You get down on yourself too easily. Think about the good you will do by doing it and that will help keep you motivated. If I were you think of it in terms of what you want to be able to do with your kids. The better you feel the more you'll be able to do with them. That will hopefully keep you on track a little more.

    The holidays are hard. You aren't going backwards, you just "paused."....

Put yourself in gear and start moving forward. You don't need to look behind you. As long as you are in the right direction now, and on track, yesterday is unimportant.

To my suprise...

So I decided to weigh in this morning. I just kept thinking to myself that I hope to be at the same weight or even better, lost 1 lbs. But suprisingly I lost 3LBS!!! Came out of now where! So I have 3 more lbs to loose to reach my first goal which is by Jan 25th. I think I may reach it a little sooner.

Last night I didn't get all my cardio in. I only got 18 min in. Today I woke up with more energy and am ready to go!!! I have been sleeping in a lot since Evie and I don't got back to school until Monday. We need to take the rest of the week and start going back to sleep and waking up at our normal times. Gotta get that routine back.

    Sleep is sooooo important in weight loss! I learned the hard way about that, and make sure you get at least one day a week to rest from exercise to recover. Congrats on the 3lb loss! your doing great! emoticon

Not meeting my goal last year is really help motivation me to start this year off right! I have been sitting down and reading the Spark Book-at least 1 ch per night. I have been using the notes section in the back to right down goals for myself. My weight loss goal is to loose 6lbs by Jan 25 (Evie's 7th b-day) and then to have lost 34 lbs by July 5 (Bubbies 4th b-day).

I did notice last night since not working out too much lately I couldn't complete my goal of 40 min but I did do 20 min of cardio and my 2 strength videos. My goal is to be up to 40 min by the end of this week. That way when I start Zumba on the 28th I can keep up!! lol.

Tomorrow when I get up I am going to do my weigh in and take my measurements. I had Evie take some pics of me tonight so I can have before and after.

I really want to commit to a healthy lifestyle. No more doing it when convenient!

DH got me an aerobic step, heart rate monitor, couple yoga outfits, a GREAT underarmor sports bra (awesome support, not cheap either!) I got all the tools now it is up to me!

Great News: Lost 1 #! WOO HOO. Great way to start my morning.

This week has been extremely busy!
-Evies holiday party and concert was exceptional!
-Got a lot of cleaning done that was put off while sick. Still got 3 more loads of laudry to
get done this morning. Then will start packing for getaway.
-Pics with Santa

This weekend is still the same
-Going to do Christmas with MIL this afternoon.
-Got to bake and decorate cookies today with the kids for Santa
-Going to watch lots of Christmas movies tonight with the kiddies
-Going to track Santa on the Santa Tracker
-Going to hang the stocking and leave Santa cookies before bed and then will read
The Night Before Christmas

-Do our family Christmas
-Run Bella to FIL
-GO back to my moms for the day
-GO back to FIL
Then it is RELAX time. The whole week. I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

This will be the only time I log on until we come back on the first or second. Take care everyone and enjoy your holidays.
I plan to take my resistance bands, handweights and SP DVD with me to FIL. Hopefully I use them!

Busy time of year

Hello all my fellow Sparkers. I just wanted to send everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I won't be on that much this week. Lots of activites! On Christmas day we will be leaving to spend the week up at father in laws.

Hopefully won't mess up too much over the holiday! Whatever hiccups may come about that will be ok because I am ready to start 2012 with a better attitude, more motiviation, and just do it right!!!
