Lost some inches

Tuesday, November 08, 2011

I decided this morning that I needed to take some measurements. I haven't done so since JUNE!! I lost 4 inches around my waist, 2 from my hips. That was nice, even though thats been since June.

Feeling a little better today. Got a little more sleep last night and I didn't wake up with a massive headache.

I got only 20 min cardio in yesterday and no strength. But I have to start slow since not 100% yet. I wanted to get my strength in last night but not a lot of time since I was studying for my ACC exam thats tomorrow. I should be able to fit in 20 min cardio and at least 1 video tonight and still finish up studying.

My CIS prof still hasn't posted the exam grades from yesterday. He is usually pretty quick so I think it should be posted today. I think I did better than the first though, at least I hope. I need an 83 to maintain my B.

HAve a great day!!

Hope everyone is doing well

Great start to a new month...I got the flu. I thought I was sick the week before, well that was nothing! I have never experienced a sore throat like this in my life. I feel so bad for my children. Just to see how they felt, I am suprised they got through it. But if they can I can. I just can't wait until the sore throat is gone. My chills have gone and my skin doesn't hurt anymore, but I still get winded and light headed doing simple things, talking, walking, straightening up. I finally got up off the coach yesterday, had no choice had to take the mustang in to get a tie rod replaced. But once I took a nice cool bath I felt a little better. Still haven't gotten any studying done.

Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been on that long the last few days, just long enough to check emails and get log in points.

Take care and have a great weekend!

Its a new month...Gotta do better than last month!

Tuesday, November 01, 2011

I am so glad Halloween is over. We had a lot of fun, I got a LOT of cardio in. But I am exhausted! Now it is November and I must do better than last month. I need to lose at least 5 lbs this month. I only lost 1 last month. I did horrible with my tracking so this is one thing I really have to work on this month. Also my strength training wasn't all that great either. So that is my other issue to take care of this month,

Well heres to a new month!

Take care and Happy November

Dog lovers--HELP!!

Saturday, October 29, 2011

We got Bella spayed 8 days ago. She has been doing great. Last night when my DH got home from work he woke me up to look at her. Half of her incision is coming open. Now it isn't deep, there was a little blood tinged muscus last night but when I looked at it and patted it with a tissue this morning there was none. It doesn't look infected. My mother in law has a bulldog too and got her spayed in Sept. She was telling me that the dog would jump around and split her open a little bit too but it healed just fine.

Now Bella was acting up and jumping around furniture and when I took her out last night so I had to put in the kitchen. I am quessing she must have done it then. I am not sure what to do. I know I am not letting her out of the kitchen for awhile though. I have some spray that the vet gave us a while back for a rash on her chin, it is also for cuts, infections too. I am going to spray that so it doesnt get infected. I am not sure if I should put a bandage on it or not.

Any one who has any clue what to do please let me know

Thanks

Polysporin, or that spray your vet gave you, keep it clean and just keep an eye on it. If it starts to look infected then take her back to the vet. If it's not bothering her, then she should be fine. Good luck! :)

One possibility is to have the vet restitch it if he/she thinks it's necessary. You need to limit her jumping around. But depending on how much it has re-opened... if not much then it should be fine.
