Last night was great fun

The kids had a blast last night and so did I . The fist thing they saw was the bounce house but once they saw the blow up obstacle course with the giant slide thats all they wanted...Forget the treats. They did that a few times first since all other kids wanted treats first. They we went to each station. It was a nice setup. Got kinda crowed but nice. There had to be at leat 30 businesses there handing things out. They not only got candy but sports bottles, tootbrushes, and other fun goodies. I was really impressed. They limited it to 200 kids and for the businesses to make goodies bags and suck for that many, well they put a lot of money into it.

Oh and everyone loved their costumes (Bubbie is Captain America and Evie is Captain Americas Daughter, Sarah AKA Crusader {she wanted Wonderwoman but I wasn't too keen on the costume}) and they were the only ones, I thought for sure with the new Captain America movie there would be a lot. My DH said that that was most popular this year (after I bought the costume). I didn't realize that movie was out.

Tomorrow night is Trick or Treat Expedition 2. A two hour walk for me:)

5k coming up

My trick or treat 5 k is this weekend and boy is it going to be slow. I signed up for the walk/jog and I have a feeling it will be mostly walking. But I will finish it. Just to finish it while being sick well that is a victory within itself.

My throat is killing me. None of us can stop coughing. And I called the kids doc...the congestion and coughing last a couple weeks. But least all the fevers are gone. The kids are able to do the trick or treat tomorrow at the rec so they are excited! I wonder if they have any part inside?! Hopefully!

Can I do it???

Still not feeling great but I really wanted that 1000 min fitness award this month. I need 393 min still which would be about 56 min a day for the next 7 days. I think I can do it if I keep the cardio low impact until I am feeling better. My body just feels so drained. I have a lot of cleaning and yard work to do that I didn't get done over this past weekend. Not to mention Thurs we are doing trick or treating with the business around Evies school district, Saturday we are doing trick or treating at Greenfield Village (which is like an hour and half walk), then Monday of course we will going trick or treating in the neighborhood around her school (we don't do much in our own city, not to fond of it that why she does school of choice). With all that walking, I think I can do it!!!

My tax acc assignment that is due tomorrow was not that hard this time. I just had a few minor things I need to correct. I really love how he lets us send in our homework before its due to make sure we get full credit!!!

My youngest is finally getting better, well at least his fever is getting better. Yesterday he took like 4 naps, his fever the night before and when he woke yesterday was 102. He felt a little warm during the night last night but he woke with only 99 temp today. Both of them still have a bad cough, very congested in their chests. I am just glad those fever are going away!

Me and the hubby is getting it but doesn't seem as bad. Hopefully it won't get any worse!

Decided to go ahead with restart

Since life likes to get in the way, I am going ahead with my restart tomorrow. And if you remember a couple weeks ago when I started a new program for my self, well this week my next set starts.

For the next 3 weeks this is my program:
40 min cardio 7 days per week
2 strength training videos 7 days per week
TRACK TRACK TRACK
5+ serving fruits/veggies
Portion Control
WATER WATER WATER (8+ per day)

In three weeks I would like to be up to 60 min cardio but I will take that step when I get there. Also after each of the nxt three weeks I will be able to check off weeks 2, 3, & 4 of my challenge.

My Virtual 5k is this next weekend too. I haven't been training very well so my time may not be what I really wanted but as long as I finish I am happy.

So in order for my restart to be great tomorrow, I will need to get the majority of my homework done today. Which shouldn't be an issue. Only place we need to go is the doctors for the shots. DH has to work today 5 hours too:).

BTW: Kids and Bella doing well. Evie still has cough but her voice is starting to come back. Bubbie has a cough now and he had a little fever last night. No fevers this morning though.

    Welcome to your Restart ! Working things out for myself and I love your determination ! I'm trying to make a 30 day challenge to huddle daily and come to the site ! It really has been rough doing that. You can do this and keep that 5k going ! We are with you all the way !

So behind on the workouts

have so much homework I don't have time to catch up on the workouts. I didn't want to restart week 2 of my challenge. Unless I can split up what I missed and get it done today and tomorrow, Sunday will be restart day.

Time to stop sparking for the morning, gotta take Bella to the Vet for her spay.
