A new day

So after getting so down on myself yesterday about going so over my cal's I decided today is a new day. I am planning my meals for the entire day and I changed my fitness goals to 20 min cardi, 10 strength 5 days a week.

So here we go! A new start!

I am so upset with myself. So last week when I started my goal to reach in calories was between 1500-1850. I have been meeting those right along, except one day I went under. Well I didn't realize that my goal had changed today to a range of 1200-1500. So I went really over today. I stayed in the range from last week but went almost 300 cal over. Just seeing that makes me feel horrible. I guess tomorrow I will start eating light breakfast and lunch and try not to have a snack.

I increased my cardio today by adding 5 minutes of jogging in place to my 10 minutes of cardio kickboxing/10 min of strength. Tomorrow I am changing my goal setting to 20 min cardio and 10 strength.

I am trying not to be too upset. Least now I know for tomorrow! emoticon

I feel great today. Just got done with a great breakfast, now it is time to excercise then off to class. I think it is going to be a great day!!!!

So I didn't log back on yesterday. But I still continued to track. I logged my food today!!!! Did have an extra roll at dinner but I still went under my cal goal.

    So you broke a streak you are tracking and it is the history that you may need one day if you hit that brick wall. Your still doing a great job of tracking, eating working out and coming around and encouraging others! Your doing Great in my Book ! emoticon emoticon

Goals for the weekend

Goal 1: So normally during the weekends I would online get on the internet in the morning to check my emails and check to see if anything was posted about my classes. My goal now is to check back in during the evenings so I can at least track the food I ate during the day.

Goal 2: Also, on Saturday's my daughter has ballet/tap in the mornings. We also stop and get Mcdonalds on the way. My fav was a medium mocha frappe (which I splurged and got one yesterday and felt awful afterwards) and a sausage mcmuffin. Well today we are eating breakfast at home. No more Saturday breakfasts (at least not for me!)

    That is a great idea. I know she would enjoy that. Both of them love to help in the kitchen and get to choose the side dishes:)

    Those sound like wonderful goals for this weekend. A good healthy breakfast prepared by you and your daughter will be better. when my foster was growing up we spent Saturday Morning with a cooking lesson. during the week she would think about what she would like to learn on Saturday morning. We started when she was 7. When she became 10 she was planning the breakfast and serving me and we moved onto preparing the dinner for either Saturday or Sunday after church meal. It was our planned time together. Breakfast was always an easy meal no matter what. Toast, egg, cereal, pancakes, waffles, etc.
Just some ideas for you time together at home for breakfast.
