Happy Friday!

Friday, October 14, 2011

Today my daughter had her Fun Run. It was for her fall fundraiser (they don't sell candy anymore they do fitness things, great program). At the beginning they gathered in the gym and danced the hokey pokey, chicken dance, macerana, and YMCA. Then they went our doors where they ran/walk around the track. It was fun, cold, but fun! For her class winning the highest donations they get an extra special lunch in their classroom with the principal. Plus they got thei face painted, stickers, pencils and other goodies. They made it into a Spirit day in light of the Michigan/Michigan St game tomorrow. It was a lot of fun. And it was at a good time that dadda got to come too!

I got my cardio in but think I may skip the strength video. My legs and back hurt. Need a little rest. But I ate pretty good today. Stayed in my calorie range for once! Didn't get all my water in though, I will try but probably won't get all 8.

This weekend is homework crazy weekend. I have chapter questions plus an extensive tax return to do for tax (which is taking forever) due Monday, a paper for psychology based on an experiment we did last week due Tues, and chapter questions for CIS class due Wednesday. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so time consuming (and confusing on some things).

The kids are going to stay the night tomorrow with Grammy and DH has to work Sat night so I will have the night to myself. My goal is to get through a lot of homework so I can spend Sat night watching a movie, in bed, by myself. I think I may throw in a nice candle light bath. Hell, I don't care how much homework I have I am still going to do that for myself tomorrow night. I deserve it!!!!!!!!!!

Have a good weekend!

Good luck in getting everything done. In order to get your water in, drink a glass before eating that will help you fill up and also help get the water in that your body needs. It will also help with the soreness from working out each day.

Good day today

Thursday, October 13, 2011

I didn't get my cardio in last night. Too tired. But I will more than make up for it today spending the entire morning walking around the apple orchard. My daughter is having her first field trip of the first grade. I will be chaperoning. I love chaperoning her events, so much fun!! They are getting to do a lot of things too! Can't wait. Wish the weather was a little nicer like earlier in the week. Least we should be able to get through without rain.

Least I was able to accomplish all other parts of my program!!! Including the water!

Enjoy the day!!!

Gotta Stop Hitting the Snooze

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

I wanted to start waking up very early so I can get my entire workout before anyone else got up. I just can't do it. It is hard to get out of bed before 6am. I want to get up at 5:15. I did it once. Last night was horrible. The dog woke me up at 12:30 am barking at another dog she heard outside somewhere. Then she wouldn't stop for awile. She acted very strange too. I think it was because DH wasn't here yet.

On a better note: Yesterday I did accomplish all double duties except for the water which I knew I wasn't going to get it all in. I also did my strength video for today already so tonight I have to just get my cardio in. and of course all my other goals.

I am too tired. I am not looking forward to classes today. Especially the second, that class is very tiring. However I don't think it will go for the entire time so that is a plus!

Hope you have a great day!

IF YOU WANT TO GET UP EARLIER GO TO BED A LITTLE EARLIER. THE DOG I CAN'T HELP YOU WITH THOUGH. I HAVE A CAT AT 5:00 AM SHE POKES AT ME TO GET UP BUT DOESN'T GET ME UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

Ha! I'm always awake before my alarm goes off--but I still don't like exercising in the wee early hours either. The body just doesn't want to move at that time. Maybe it's a good time to do something slow like weights emoticon or yoga??? emoticon

I'm not a morning person, so getting up at 5:15 wouldn't sit well with me either. One way to avoid hitting the snooze bar is to relocate your alarm clock across the room, so you have to get up to turn it off. Just avoid the temptation to crawl back between the sheets after you're already on your feet, and you're good to go.

I hope today gets better for you!

Double Duty

Tuesday, October 11, 2011

Since I didn't get to meet all my points of my program I created yesterday, I will have to work a little harder and make up for what I didn't do.

So today I need to do the following:
20 min cardio (I did get that in yesterday!!)
2 strength videos (I did NOT get this one in yesterday)
TRACK EVERYTHING
7 servings fruits/veggies (I only got 3 in yesterday but I already have 4 today, 3+ to go!)
11 glasses of water (I only got 5 in yesterday)

I think I should be able to do that. The only thing I would be concerned with is the water.

DH is going back to work tonight. I am happy but starting to feel kind of sad! Once we get back into our old routine we should be ok though. I will miss him though. Sort of.

Have a beautiful day everyone!

I like the way you use the blog to grab yourself, and pull yourself back on track.

No more excuses

Monday, October 10, 2011

I updated my page to reflect my new attitude! My new title is A new start, A new ME!!! I made my program more with more specific goals. So here it goes:

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

My goal:
Lose 5-8 lbs per month to reach total of 40lbs lost. (But no more than 45lbs)
Maintain healthy weight of 115-120 and maintain healthy lifestyle thereafter

My program:
-20 min of cardio/5days per week
*increase to 7 days by
10.24.11
*increase to 40 min by
10.24.11, then 60 min
by 11.7.11
-1 strength training video/5days per week
*increase to 2 by
10.24.11
-Track everything, everyday
-Eat 5+ servings fruits/veggies per day
-Drink 8 glasses of water per day
-Add bouts of activity daily

Thanks to everyone for all their support and encouragement. I really appreciate it! I couldn't do this without you!

Have a WONDERFUL day!
