Today DH went to the Lions game with his dad, so in light of this nice break I decided to scrub the house. I got my kitchen and living room done then went out and mowed the lawn and did some weeding. Now I have to do some homework so I will put off the bedrooms and bathroom for during the week.

Nice day though! While cleaning me and the kids put the radio on and danced while I cleaned. We made up a new dance called cleaning the stove:) It was so much FUN!!!!

Mourning the loss of a loved one

Today I will be spending the afternoon at my best friend of 14 years' mothers' funeral.
On Sept 2 her mother was in TN visiting family, her and her brother were on their way to another relatives home around 5:30 pm when this dirt plate thing on the bottom came down making them loose control of his motorcycle. Her mother was on the back, flew off and was fatally injured. She was only 45. She had 4 daughters and 5 very young grandkids. After her visit in TN her and some of her relatives were supposed to drive to FL and go on a cruise to the Bahamas.

She was a wonderful woman. I always called her mom too. She will aways be missed!

So DH's employer called back this afternoon after speaking with the owner. They don't want him to come back until he can come back without restrictions. We understand that they don't want o get hurt worse but AAAAHHHH it will be AT LEAST another 2 weeks! Waiting to hear from the surgeon to see if they will clear him 100% on Oct 4. seeing that his STD will run out then

If it isn't one thing its another!

GREAT news! DH is FINALLY going back to work on Tuesday! I love him but man, 3 months!! Oh how I need this break! Things are finally going to get back to normal. I called Monday to the surgeon, told him DH was off the pain meds and feeling good and ready to go back next week, he told him to come in Thurs and agreed to let him go back with lifting and bending restrictions!!!! YIPPPEEE!!!

Now as for me...I have been feeling pretty crappy the last few days due to this cold that came out of nowhere. I still got in a 45 min workout yesterday. I restarted the training for 5k so I walked/jogged (mainly walked fast) for 30 min for total 3.755 miles...who hoo..then I did an upper body with resistance band video.

Today I will do at least 15 min cardio kickboxing and 2 strength videos. I still feel bad but will get something done. Don't have much of an appetite. I did eat though, we made a nice pot of homemade chili it was gooood!
