Yes, but did you tell your doctor that you are only eating 500 calories a day? It is quite a shock to your body to eat a relatively high number of calories, then drop your calorie level down that low for weeks. At that calorie level, you can be fine one day, and end up in the emergency room the next. The fact that you have not become ill yet is probably making you feel that it is safe to eat so few calories on the HCG plan, when in fact, it is NOT. MANY, MANY DOCTORS HAVE STUDIED THE HCG DIET AND CONCLUDED THAT HCG DOES NOTHING TO HELP WITH WEIGHT LOSS AND IT IS NOT SAFE TO EAT SO FEW CALORIES! Even doctors at the prestigious Mayo Clinic say that the HCG diet is not safe or effective. In this article, they write about some of the dangers of extremely low calorie dieting. http://www.mayoclin ic.com/health/hcg-diet/an02091< BR> "that level of calorie restriction has risks, such as gallstone formation, irregular heartbeat, and an imbalance of the electrolytes that keep the body's muscles and nerves functioning properly. Hi there, Yes I talk to my doctor at least once a week, I'm really safe and he checked me just last week. All my tests came back great, I feel good. I came over to the US a long time ago but where I was I was lucky to eat that many calories. I feel privileged to be in the US but I know I can do this. Thanks for the continued concern. Even if you slow down a bit you are still ahead. The best thing is to look at the weight loss in a week instead of the day by day. You are already ahead if you add it up. The average is pound a day. Report Inappropriate Comment |

Is your doctor aware of the fact that you are only eating 500 calories a day????? And are they aware of the fact that you have been eating only about 1/3 of your recommended daily calories for over two weeks, and that you plan to continue doing this for a month???? THIS DIET PLAN IS NOT SAFE!!!!!!! Report Inappropriate Comment |

The fact that your weight loss is slowing down is a sure sign that your body has had more than enough of this 500 calorie HCG starvation diet. At this point, eating only 500 calorie range could do some serious damage fast. Scientists have proven that HCG does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to safeguard your muscles and organs from damage when you eat only 500 calories a day. So if you want to continue with this diet, which all the reliable studies have concluded has absolutely no scientific evidence behind it, why don't you at least stop the starvation part of this plan now and go onto the next "phase" where you are allowed to eat more foods and have a safe number of calories? Good morning, went yesterday to target and bought a new digital scale, the kind that you can take with you a traveling one. So this morning since I wasn't home, I had taken my new scale with me and when I weighed this morning...I was like
I'm down 24.4 I want to reach 30 lbs down and now I can see it coming just a little longer!!!
If I get past that I will be even more happy!! Then once completed I will stay at my healthy lifestyle and up my calories a little, but to me now it will seem like alot.
Even while on the HCG diet I still get temped and it's still hard to walk away from the foods I love but I'm doing it and it's building my willpower, I guess this is another good thing for me it's making it so when I start going back I won't go crazy.
Your all welcome to check on me after I finish to see how I'm doing. Thanks for all the love and attention.

To keep on doing what you are doing -- eating only 500 calories a day on the HCG scam diet -- could put you in the hospital before you even GET to maintenance! That has happened to some people on this website.

That traveling scale is a great idea however, some are not that too hung up on weighing while traveling as most fitness centers at the hotals have them. Congrats on your weight lose! Sometimes, you just have to do what you gotta do to know you can do it! I've been on theScarsdale diet as that my claim so I'm doing my maintenane now and feel really good about learning and adding whole grains! Keep on doing what you're doing and make it happen! Have you ever thought of going on a no junk food clean eating plan? That would be SO much healthier and safer than starving yourself on 500 calories a day with the dangerous HCG plan!

Travel scale... I'm heading to Amazon next! Good to hear you have a "plan" for maintenance. I've lost and regained so much weight over my lifetime (and know that's not healthy either!) so my challenge this time will be to adopt healthy lifestyle changes that will enable me to retain the loss, prevent gaining it all back - so Maintain a "healthy" weight.... But I've got quite a bit further to go! So for now, I'll stay focused on losing again! Report Inappropriate Comment |

Actually, this is not good news at all. It is very dangerous to lose weight that quickly. And when you lose weight that fast on an extremely low calorie eating plan, it nearly always comes back. Does your doctor know that you are only eating 500 calories a day?????????? Secondly, no two scales read the same. They can be off by 5 pounds or more. So if you have to change scales in the middle of a diet, you really don't know how much weight you lost. Thirdly, there is no scientific basis to the Simeons HCG diet theory. That theory has been studied by many groups of scientists around the world, and they ALL say that HCG, even in the injectable form, is no more effective than a placebo for weight loss. And the FDA is taking all the HCG diet products off the market because the starvation diet plan that goes with the HCG drops is so dangerous. Web MD: The Truth About HCG For Weight Loss http://www.webmd.com/di et/features/truth-about-hcg-for -weight-loss FDA: HCG Products Are Illegal http://www.fda.gov/F orConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm 281333.htm When you want something bad enough, it is very easy to be taken in by scammers with products that make false claims like HCG. It's too bad the FDA let the HCG scam go on for as long as they have before they tackled it, because during the years they were looking the other way, or calling HCG a non-priority issue, thousands of people lost their health by starving on that dangerous eating plan. BTW, the "medical experts" referenced in MJASAKISA's post are nothing but snake oil salesmen in the HCG scam. They are either not real doctors, or they are "doctors" that are unethical and found that promoting the HCG scam is a way to make fast and easy money. I looked at that website, and it's basically just a scam artist trying to sell books. No doctor worth trusting would EVER recommend that HCG scam to a patient! That's awesome. Just remember the 72 hours after the HCG and then the reset phase where you eat all food except sugar and starch. Here is a good book if you want to read more and can help you on the next step. http://weightlossapocalypse.authors xpress.com/2011/12/15/hcg-proto col-medical-expert-reviews-weig ht-loss-apocalypse/ Congrats with the new scale, I was thinking about buying a traveling scale too.
