My son and I arrived back home from Lake George, NY. I visited my family and friends. I didn't realize how much I missed everyone till I had to say good bye. While I was down there everyone complimented me on my weight lose apparently it is noticeable. lol. I haven't been loosing weight but my mom informed me that my boobs are getting even bigger. Great just what I need lol.

Anyway. On my mom's Birthday we were getting dinner situated and my son was playing with their new puppy and she bit him. It wasn't on purpose they were playing ball and my son grabbed the ball and put it by his face and when she grabbed it she got his nose and mouth. The plastic Surgeon put a total of 5 stitches on his face. My mom felt so bad but I and my husband informed her it wasn't her fault so not to worry. In fact I now have to remind him he has stitches because he already fell face first a total of 6 times. I think it's the Asperger's (High Functioning Autism) that makes him clumsy but it's the boy in him that makes it happen. lol. We had to tell him if he keeps falling his nose was going to fall off. It was the only way we could get him to pay attention to what he is doing. He still loves dogs and couldn't figure out why we had to keep her locked up in another part of the house. The only med he's on for it is med to keep him from getting an infection. He has no pain med but yet he forgets he has stitches. lol. He's trying ti give me an early heart attack.

Hope everyone has a good wk. I'm not paying attention to my food intake right now because I don't know how the hurricane is going to effect Massena NY. So I'm getting food ready that we don't need to worry about electric with. lol.

I'm glad your son is okay! I'm sorry he had to get five stitches, but am relieved that it was on the minor side.

Hang in there! Enjoy your time with family! Keep up the positive attitude and you will do great!

Today I went 50 calories over my calorie intake and I'm so paying for it. Now that I've been watching my calorie intake my stomach can not handle any sugary food. I ate one of my son's pop tarts they are good but now my stomach is mad. I actually have to rest for a little while because my stomach is doing turns. emoticon So the sugary food we will leave for the hubby and the little guy next time for snack Apples and yogurt sounds like a safer bet. emoticon

Hope everyone had a good day

Well it's been a busy couple of days. Tuesday I had to take my son to the Asthma and Allergy Dr. that is 3 hrs away from home. I packed my self 1/4 cup of raisins and I brought many Apples in case I got hungry. Since my son was well behaved I promised him ice cream at Stewart's. I ended up having one scoop of Frozen Strawberry Yogurt and it was delicious. Plus I did awesome on my calorie count and still had enough calories left to have dinner when I got home. emoticon

Yesterday was a little different I did go a little over my calorie count, but the little guy had a Harvest Dinner at school and the food was good. emoticon I did bring my own drink so I wouldn't have any calories that way. It wasn't much over. They had Beef Barley Soup with vegetables all home made in the Head starts kitchen.

Today is a good day. Granted I haven't really exercised I have stayed active. When I parked my vehicle I park as far away from the door as I can. Plus I run up and down my stairs at least 5 times a day sometimes more. Depending on what is going on. I'm always cleaning and I have a 4 yr old who has an abundant amount of energy. emoticon

My little guy has the next couple of days off so I'm planning on getting the rest of my cleaning done today so I can stay active with my son the next couple of days. I'm hoping the weather stays this good because I would like to take the little guy out for a walk around the block. I don't get outside much because I'm allergic to everything environmental. If I'm out in the sun for more than 10 min without sunscreen I feel as if some one pored acid on my skin then I get red and blotchy.

Hope everyone had an awesome couple of days and those who haven't I hope your wk gets better.

Lots of Love

Hi Jalene... Sounds like you're doing great! Strawberry yogurt was a good choice in that situation. I just got home from the grocery store-can't wait to start cooking meals from the Sparkpeople cookbook! Saw so many slow cooker recipes that had my mouth watering I had to get a big crockpot lol...but I'm too tired now to do much of anything. Tomorrow morning you can bet I'll be filling it up lol. I work a double every Friday so it will be good to come home to cooked food and a great smelling house! Have a great night...Laurie

Yesterday I went out and bought light chocolate silk (soy) which is 90 calories for a cup. Now that it's getting chilly out everyone is wanting hot chocolate and the little guy drinks more strawberry and chocolate milk so I figured since it is 100 calories for 2 Tbsp of Strawberry syrup that was out of the question. emoticon So I got the soy for a somewhat healthier treat. emoticon At least that way when my sweet tooth strikes I don't feel as guilty to giving in. emoticon Plus 3 Cinnamon disk candy's are 60 calories. With Halloween coming around all you hear and see is candy. I'm already having a hard time staying away from the chocolate. 3 of those candy's are all I need to satisfy my candy hunger. I know not the greatest for being on a diet but if I don't allow myself some kind of treat I have a hard time sticking to my diet. Plus it is a lot less calories than the other candy bars. One of these days I will fit in my old close and it will be sooner than later. All I have to do is work on my will power and emoticon Hope everyone had a good day.

I have been making my hot chocolate with sugar free chocolate syrup (I found it above the coffee in the coffee aisle (???) and unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk (40 calories per cup). YUM.

Day 20

Saturday, October 13, 2012

Did an awesome job on my calorie count today. I've been cleaning the house today. I ran up and down my stairs a total of 10 times and my hands were full each time. emoticon lol. Had to change the master bedroom bed and the little guys bed. I don't know why I did this but I brought one piece of bedding up at a time. lol. Gonna do a couple more things around the house then play WOW. (World of Warcraft) Tomorrow the hubby has off emoticon Lets just say he's gonna wish he was working instead. Wanna get the house clean before we get it ready for winter. lol.

Promised the little guy I would play school with him tomorrow. He almost had a complete melt down because there was no school tomorrow. I had to tell him. Remember there is no school on Sundays but you get to go to school the day after. emoticon

Hope everyone had a good day.
