Glad to see you are back!!! Seems like you had a fun time even if you were sick. Shopping one of my favorite things. Hope your Hubby decides to join too. Always better to have someone with you on the journey.
Now just get back to the shred and you are set.
Good luck in the am with the weigh in. Remember any lose is a great thing.

Hope you get better soon. Get some throat tablets that numb your throat so you can drink without pain..
BYEBYEFAT.11/12/2009 9:30PM
i seriously think that a cold is spreading via sparkpeople! haha. i swear everyone is getting sick.
STARRSTYLIST11/12/2009 8:37PM
Girl you should NOT do a work out feeling like you do. So don't stress it. What I would suggest and HIGHLY, is to go and get VITAMIN C tablets (not gummys lol) and take about 4 of those a day, along with your meds. Trust me htey really do work and your body needs them. I hope you feel better VERY SOON. I know I left a message about enjoying your hubby tonight, but that was because I feel like today is FRIDAY. lol My mind is not with me today I guess..
As formy Shred. YAY I got it done this morning, day 4! And youa rae right, I am starting to feel better, my muscles that is. So I am so glad I decided to stick with it and suffer through the pain.
Take your meds and go to bed. Feel better tomorrow. ANd have a great day!
AWESOME JOB!!!!!! I am SO motivated by how PUMPED you are.... Do a little dance!! Hubby is coming home sooooon!!!! YEAAAAAHHHH I love your positive outlook. You really motivate me!!!!!

Good morning girlie.. YAY Im so proud of you! You are doing FANTASTIC!!!!!
I'm so excited for you today. HUBBY COMES HOME. Have a GREAT evening. I'm getting ready to do my DAY 4 and then go to work. Ugg If I don't do it now, I won't do it later. Bad habit I need to break. So here I go.
Great job this week. HUGS & Buncehs of love your way!

Hey you! As far as getting heavier weights w/your back issue...be sure, double-sure that you're following proper form especially w/the weight increase. Hubby has chronic back issues & has been told (repeatedly) that Pilates is one of the best things for him to do.
I TOTALLY understand where you're coming from w/the scale. I finished last week SPOT ON w/my food, nutrition & exercise but still had a slight gain. What the?!? Like you said it's our body adapting to a new workout & it'll take some time to show the results on the scale. I'm glad to hear you recognize the results of your mental health though...it's just as important & should be accounted for along w/measurments & weight. How we FEEL often determines how well we succeed w/the scale & measurments.
Patience. It's a tough one for me especially when we're kicking butt w/the workouts & food. It'll come Jennifer...just keep plugging away!

Wow, good for you! It is so hard to motivate yourself some days but you did work out after all.
Also check you recommended calorie range. I am 137 lbs and my recommended calories for a slow loss is 1500. I am ill and cannot exercise too much but am losing weight at about 1 lb a week. You may slow your loss down if your body sees itself as starving, especially if you work out as hard as you are. I know eating more seems counter productive. But at this website http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm I calculated that with no exercise at all and assuming that you are about 5'8" you need 2000 calories a day to lose weight at a moderate pace. So if you are as you say in the video eating 900 calories a day and doing the shred, your body is probably not wanting to give up the lbs.
PLUS: Home made soup is one of natures most healthy foods. I always have a big pot of soup in my fridge. This week we ate a wonderful tuscan white bean and kale, and a super delicious split pea and barley. Both hearty, full of nutrients and great with a slice of multi-grain bread.
What kind of soup are you eating? If it is vegetable, I have a great recipe for veggie soup that is delicious and lower in sodium than canned. It is also low in calories so you literally can have as much as you want, or you can serve it over brown rice for a more substantial meal. Let me know and I can send the recipe to you if you would like.
Congrats on making it through day 4 !! You're awesome! I am definitely going to have to start the Shred.
MNGRLINCO11/11/2009 11:27AM
I found your blog while looking at the Military Wives team. I'd never seen a video blog before. I loved it. What a great way to stay in touch. I think if I did a video blog I'd feel accountable to everyone who tuned in to see it to stay on track. I might take this up. Thanks for your inspiration and congrats on Day 4, and the many more to come!
KELFACE10111/11/2009 9:32AM

That's so exciting that your husband is coming home this weekend. I bet you are so excited to see you. :D How long has he been gone?
Hope you have a fantastic night!
STARRSTYLIST11/10/2009 11:37PM

And I am so happy for you that your hubby is coming home...YIPPIE.. and you may not be vblogging, but you better come and say HAY, Im still going strong.
This is going to be YOUR challenge: When your hubby comes home and you guys go out to eat, or even just eat at home. I want you to STILL MAKE GOOD CHOICES.. This is the rest of your life, so PROVE TO YOURSELF that you CAN DO IT. Show him how hard you have worked to get where you are.
Good luck sweetheart, I know you can do it. Enjoy anything you want this weekend, as long as it doesn't have calories hehe (oh Did I say that) haha..

You are doing so GREAT!!!!!
EMSSBEARS11/10/2009 12:43AM
I think your whole face looks smaller except your smile it is much bigger. Someone is really trying to get in touch with you on that phone. I hope you are going to be ok with weather. You should be able to work off those Pizza Rolls with the shred workout especially since you stayed within range. Drinking the water will help flush them away too. You are doing so good.
BYEBYEFAT.11/9/2009 11:30PM
i know what you mean! i dont have 30 day shred... BUT i do have demand, and they had day 1 and day 2 of 30 day shred on demand.. so i did them a week or so ago, and it kicked my butt haha. but i LOVED it. i felt so accomplished after :) glad your day was awesome! keep it up!
STARRSTYLIST11/9/2009 11:27PM
YAY for you girl. Im proud of you...And we will do this my friend. Its so good to see you sooo motivated and happy.
As for the eating of all those calories..hummm Just remember, you are NOW working out daily and should actually have MORE then usual. So don;t forget that. Your body needs the calories for energy when you do so much. I know it sounds odd, but it is true. Another thing I posted in our team hehe
Keep up the great work. Before you know it, we will all have to go nd buy smaller cloths haha.. YIPPIE
hugs girlie Teresa
psss Im glad I decided to stay also lol.. Its good to give myself a challenge, even one as hard as this haha..
