Day3...

Monday, December 02, 2013

Well since Saturday. I lost! Yeah from Thanksgiving I was up to 148.6 and now I am 145.6 its 3 pounds, but I am thrilled. I love eating clean. I feel so good! When I eat processed food- I feel sluggish and worn out. I feel like I have a ton of energy and feeling great. Day 3 is starting off good. I had a veggie omelet for breakfast and a half cup of pineapple. It was a great breakfast. I worked out yesterday for 45 minutes. I really wanted to do more, but I did not want to over do it since last week was not my best week. I did not exercise at all last week :( Well I am excited about more results with the plan and my changes to my diet!

Yeah Holidays over!

Saturday, November 30, 2013

Day one of the Dolvett's plan. I am super excited.. I had some egg whites, tomato, and a banana. It was good breakfast. I feel very satisfied. I had fun making the chicken salad last night for this lunch. I have to work today so I made all my food last night for today. It is a good tip to make all your food and be prepared! I think being prepared is the best way to stay on track. I am so happy I did not over indulge this Thanksgiving. I feeling excited about Dolvett's plan and it is just a nice and easy approach.

I cant wait to work out later today when I get off work. It has been a week. I had an accident last week and feel down running with my dog last Sunday. I am finally feeling good. My chin was so swollen and bruised. I was not really in the mood to do anything except lay down keep ice on my chin and put neosporin on chin.

Well so happy it is Saturday! The sun is shinning! It is definitely something to be happy about and it is warmer. It has been so cold in Indiana for weeks. It feels more like winter already. :( Can't wait to see what today holds!

So happy I got a new book..

Saturday, November 23, 2013

Happy Saturday.. Well I weighed in today- I have not lost any weight, but I am definitely loosing inches my clothes are fitting better and I feel so much better. I have a ton more energy than I had before. I do think the vitamins are helping to.

I am super excited my friend bought be Dolvett Quince from Biggest loser book. I love it already. I am excited to read more. I love reading new ways to improve. I feel that the food choices and guidelines are easy to stick to. It is call 3-1-2-1. You eat clean for 3 days, cheat, 2 days of eating clean, and a cheat day. I kind of do something similar, but excited the reviews have been very good! I feel this is something I can do for the rest of my life. No restrictions nice and easy- slow and steady wins the race. I am taking it slow- I know in the long run my body and my weightloss will be more permanent and than losing fast and gaining it back fast. I have noticed when I lose weight fast it is never good. I usually gain it back faster than losing it even. It is a lifestyle change not a diet...

Love the idea of more than one cheat day a week - so much more doable and motivational. Thank you for the insight.

Nice weekend!

Sunday, November 17, 2013

It's been a nice wknd. I had some of my friends from Chicago come in. It was so good to see them. I was so happy to spend time with them. I have been friends with them for 21yrs. It was so much fun to catch up. I went out a couple times and made better choices for the most part. It has been a great couple days.. Back to working out. I was going to go to the gym, but due to the bad storms going to stay in and Leslie Sansone walk away the pounds. It's going to be a great Sunday!!

Pitch- ins!

Thursday, November 14, 2013

I work in an office were a pitch-in is almost everyday. The next two months are like a battlefield of sweets and yummy goodness. I have to be a fighter and stand up to all this goodness. Does anyone have any tips to get through days at work with Pitch-ins? I am finding it difficult. I am promised myself to go to our cafe and get healthy salad instead or sushi which is better than eating baked goods. I am trying oh so hard to be good. I hope I make it out alive today. lol..

You know this is a common problem - in a way you do not want to be rude to co-workers but you also want to stick to your program. By pitch in - does that mean purchasing Goodies together ? Can you bring in a Great Veggie Plate with low fat dip ? We are not allowed to bring food to work ( other than lunch) which personally I feel is a good policy - no pressure - in the past I have Just said No - one day at a time ! Good Luck - emoticon
