Still Streaking! Day 15

Today is my 15th day in a row of exercising every day. I spent two hours in the gym today. Started off with 1/2 an hour on the treadmill, then I did every machine so both upper body and lower body got a good workout. So did the abs!

Hubby and daughter are at a hockey game so I spent the afternoon rearranging my living room. Dinner is in the oven. We are having roasted potatoes and veggies w/ Terryaki Chicken. Now, I'm kicking back and relaxing in front of the fire.

Just Move

I didn't have transportation to go to the gym tonight because my daughter wanted to go to a Halloween party. So, instead of throwing in the towel and not getting any exercise in, I made sure to do 30 minutes of exercise at home. It may not be my normal workout for Friday nights but at least I did something.

If all else fails, just move!

Thursday Re-Cap: Day 13 Streak

Went to run with my two friends tonight; but, one couldn't make it and the other wanted to walk. I was disappointed at first; but, then I realized that I've been working my butt off for 13 days straight and I could probably use a little easing up on the intensity. So, we walked 2.4 miles and enjoyed some nice conversation.

Sometimes you have to take the time to slow down. It's not necessary to workout until you burn out. Have fun and enjoy yourself!

One of my goals for my upcoming 50th year challenge is to try some sort of new fitness activity every month to expand my horizons. On my list is Zip Lining and Indoor Rock Wall Climbing; but, I'm looking for ideas from the Spark Community on fun activities to try. So, what exciting things are you doing that you think I should add to my list?

I'm really looking forward to your suggestions!

Tues & Wednesday 10/22 and 10/23

Another two days in a row of working out. Last night was C25K with one of the girls. Tonight the other girl and I spent two hours in the gym! We did a complete all over body workout. Let me tell you, I am feeling it ALL OVER! emoticon

Tomorrow night is another C25K training. Time for me to step it up a bit. I really want to increase my running time.

Off to bed. I'm exhausted! emoticon
