Schedule for the new week

Monday, July 12, 2010

I am FINALLY feeling better!! I took it easy today and will try to remember to take it slow this week so that I do not relapse. Even though I took the week off due to being sick, I am so pleased with the results of my July Challenge. I lost another inch in my waist. I am melting down SLOWLY but it is happening. I guess it shows the importance of diet. Even on days where you cannot workout for whatever reason, staying on track with your water and foods can go a long way to keeping you on track.

Here is the plan for this next week along with my July results so far.....

1. Run/Walk - 10.13 miles (sick this month so mileage is low)
2. Crunches - 550 reps
3. Pushups - 80 reps
4. Squats - 600 reps

Monday - Walk 5.56 miles - DONE! 30 mins ST with Cathe Circuit Blast DVD
Tuesday - Walk 3 miles and 30 mins of Cathe Cardio Core DVD
Wednesday - Walk 4 miles and 30 mins of ST with Cathe Drill Max DVD
Thursday - Walk 3 miles and 30 mins of Cathe Cardio Core DVD
Friday - Walk 4 miles and 30 mins of Cathe Circuit Blast DVD
Saturday - Walk/Run 3 miles
Sunday - Rest!

Happy you're feeling better & BRAVO for the accomplishments you've made so far.

Even when we're sick, staying with healthy food & drinking our water can definitely make a difference. I was glad to read that because I've done the opposite the last few weeks of being unwell. You've encouraged me to change that behavior.

Thanks for a good blog! emoticon

Day 8 : Family Fit Challenge

Friday, July 09, 2010

What a hard week this has been. I am still fighting off this nasty bug. It has affected all of us. My husband is not feeling well and little Michaela is having congestion. I will be SO happy when we officially get back to our normal schedule. She has not been sleeping well as of late and so we are all pretty tired. I still think the end is near and soon we will be back out on the roads for our morning walks.

In the mean time I have been eating extremely well and doing what I can to stay on track with our challenge this month. My 3 new Cathe dvds came in yesterday and I am anxious to get back to working out SOON!

Here are the results from yesterday...

I hope you get better quick. Being sick definitely throws a monkey wrench into workouts. I like to think that its god's way of telling us to slow down and rest? (power of positive thinking).
