Workout results 10/25

Today was hard. This morning I felt on top of the world and then around 2:00, my energy was gone, a headache came on and I felt miserable. I started getting dizzy and so I laid down to rest. I feel somewhat better but I am by far back to normal. Even though today was a challenge, my mood is high and I feel truly blessed. I know that this will pass and I soon will on my way to having a strong week. I did manage to stay on track once again with my calories and my water intake and for that I am proud.

Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day.....

Daily Goals -
1. Drink one gallon of water - DONE!
2. Stay within caloric range - DONE! 1,782 calories consumed
3. Complete scheduled workout - did not do...

    emoticon you are doing great:drinking your water and staying withih your calorie range ,eating what is right for u and your baby but do to hormonal changes you will sometimes feel fatigue or dizzy so you will need to rest which is good for both of u I hope that you are better tomorrow and do a light w.o emoticon

Workout results 10/24

What a fantastic day we had yesterday getting stuff done around the house for the nursery! I ate well but did not get my walk in as we stayed busy all day. I am ready for a wonderful week coming up with many goals to accomplish.

Daily goals -
1. Drink 1 gallon of water - Did not reach goal
2. Complete scheduled workout - Day off, worked around the house
3. Log foods and stay on track with calories - 1,812 consumed

Schedule for the week ahead -
Goals -
1. Walk/Run 20 miles
2. ST 3 days
3. Prenatal yoga 2 days
4. Log foods each day
5. Drink 1 gallon of water a day

Monday, Wednesday and Friday - Walk/run 4 miles followed by ST
Tuesday and Thursday - Walk/ Run 3 miles followed by prenatal yoga
Saturday - Walk/Run - 3 miles
Sunday - Rest

    38 years ago when society was perhaps not so open, where everybody could not twit or post everything, I took a picture of my lovely bride in a bikini the day before she was due. Over the years, we dig it out once in while and it is still a shock and yet, a blessing. Take some good ones. My daughters are Olympic Gold Medalists in Synchronized Swimming, so they did and still do love the water. They found that easy swimming late in pregnancy was a good break for their back and a good way to keep aerobics somewhat intact. Enjoy the wonder of "Mom-hood."

    Congrats on your pregnancy! I am sure you have heard it a million times from sparkers, friends and family, but treasure every minute because soon as precious as your little one will be, they will be terrorizing the house and destroying your dvd colletction sooner than you know it!

    You look like a beautiful pregnant lady! I think it's so much more enjoyable to appreciate your growing belly than to keep thinking "OMG, I'm so big already?"... I didn't want to do that while pregnant and it made the whole weight gain experience totally bearable and honestly, it didn't phase me a bit. I guess, like you, I gained reasonable amounts of weight, because I didn't go crazy with my eating, but just ate the same ( with some thrown in cravings here and there- aka, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, haha)
This might sound totally weird to you, but I even went as far as recording my voice and we had this giant headphones and Dan and I used to put them on the belly--- it was supposed to be soothing to the baby--- along the lines of listening to music- we now joke that it's no wonder that Danny loves a ton of the music we do-LOL! (minus the hormonal Maria Carey sessions-probably driving both Dans nuts, haha)

    OHH! I love being pregnant. And I love babies. I have four kids, the little one is still a baby.
You should start to use an anti-stria pregnency cream. For the next year, twice a day. I got bad strias even from my first pregnancy, although I wasn't fat/overweight then, just pregnant. Seriously, some of them are 1cm wide! emoticon

Workout results 10/23

I am logging early today as I am getting ready to head out for some holiday shopping, followed by a lovely night with my husband. I have pre-logged my dinner, so that I stay on track. I enjoyed a fabulous morning workout, with a 4 mile walk/run. It felt so good in the cold, crisp air!

I am doing well with my nutrition, taking things day by day. I have my water ready so when I am out shopping I can stay on track with my intake and maybe stay away from a craving or two! You definitely have to be prepared when going out!!!

Daily goals -
1. Drink 1 gallon of water - not as of now, but i will...promise!
2. Complete scheduled workout - DONE!
3. Log foods and stay on track with calories - DONE....pre-logged calories for dinner.

Workout for today - 4 mile walk/slow run -
3 miles - 42 mins -
Mile 1 - 14:47 mm
Mile 2 - 13:42 mm
Mile 3 - 13:34 mm
Mile 4 - 16:33 mm cool down walk for a total time of 58 mins

Totals for the day -
Time - 58 mins
Calories burned - 435
Calories consumed - 2,041

Today was perfect! Simply perfect. My headache from yesterday was gone, we had a wonderful visit to the doctor, my workout was light but strong, and I enjoyed a lovely lunch with my husband talking about our baby! It doesn't get any better...

Daily goals -
1. Drink 1 gallon of water - DONE! I drank 1.5 gallons today..OY!
2. Complete scheduled workout - DONE!
3. Log foods and stay on track with calories - DONE! Despite having a large lunch.

Totals for the day - 3.5 mile walk with ST
Time - 97 mins
Calories burned - 664
Calories consumed - 1,940
