Time to get back on the wagon

So, because of a knee injury, I was not able to work out for the past week. I gained . 4 lbs(almost 1/2 a lbs!) and I ate mostly because I felt bad :(

Yesterday was my first really good day since then. So I am going to keep on going in the right direction and get my journey going again in the right direction!!

Bad Days don't last forever, this to shall past.

It is time to dig deeper so I can meet my goal in time for the weddings!

1 week isn't going to be the end all of my life - these days / weeks are going to happen and I just have to keep pushing forward! So here I go, pushing forward and NOT looking back.

Still Hitting It!

Started the week off Strong- Week 4 Day 1, went ice skating with my son today, and did ab sculpt 2 + hips, buns & thighs. Eating good, drank all my water .. Still Hitting It!!

Tuesday is my birthday - YaY happy birthday to me, my family and I are going out to eat, I picked the restaurant and I already know what I am ordering :) Mussels. YummY Sea Food & Salad.

Update for my blog "It's only just begun"

I did it, I passed the "week 3 abomination" I usually give up after 2 weeks - and I didn't do it this time. I am in it for the long haul - I realize that it took 25 years to get this way, it isn't going to change in 2 weeks. I think before , all those times that I gave up I was expecting to see major changes in 2 weeks and I didn't so I got discouraged. This time I am motivated, and seeing 2.5 lbs on the scale is good enough for me. I am also measuring this time so I am seeing inches drop off and my husband is being so sweet, every week that I lose inches he measures out a piece of yarn with my total inches lost and snips it and tapes it to the fridge for me to see. So my yarn keeps getting bigger. Love my husband!!!

I received a note from him this morning when I woke up he put it where I sit and eat breakfast "Meagans wedding, 6 months, who's showing up, Big Jen or Small Jen?. Another Day today, stay focused for Saturday, eat some veggies. I Love You."

He is too much! lol made me laugh and I felt completely loved.

but he is also right, Another Day to get up and get going! Love this new lifestyle, more energy and I feel GREAT!!!

I did it, it was me. Guilty as charged.

My son was having a snack and asked me if he could have a cookie to go with it - of course I got the cookie.. he took 1 bite of the cookie and left it on his plate and went to play.

15 minutes later...

The cookie was still there. I ask "Are you finished with your snack & your cookie?" - he replies "yep just throw it in the trash" (such a smart 4 year old) ... so I throw the now warm cheese in the trash, with the crackers... but the cookie - it looks at me with that warm gooey chocolatey chip face and I ATE IT.

Without even thinking about it, I ate the stupid cookie.

- UGH -

Stupid Cookie. Do you realize what you have done?!?! I now have to do an extra 30 minutes of exercise today just to burn off the STUPID COOKIE.

*extremely large sigh*

It's ok, I like exercise HA! jokes on you STUPID COOKIE.

I have to buy cookies that I don't like (for my kids lunches) so that I'm less tempted to eat them. That must have been a good cookie if it takes 30 min of cardio to burn it off. Next time, enjoy it...savor it. Then laugh at the cookie during your workout because you like to workout. :) Report Inappropriate Comment

I am scared for my sanity. My 4 (almost 5) year old received a Veggie Tales CD for Christmas, not sure if any of you know what that is but it is a bunch of vegetables singing. He insists we listen to it in the car everyday for our 20 min. ride home from playschool, so everyday for 20 minutes I listen to vegetables singing, then for the remainder of the night I listen to my son repeat those songs such as "His Cheeseburger" "I love my lips" and "PIzza Angel" I am now singing along with them... HELP ME!!! lol They are catchy tunes, really they are, but singing about cheeseburgers and pizza's is making me hungry!

I am holding strong for now but there has got to be a NEW cd come quickly! I am looking on amazon and ordering one asap, from a movie soundtrack or something with normal songs!

Thank you Veggie Tales for providing wholesome music for my child, but lay off the JUNK food TALK please !!!
