A while back when some state's judiciary instructed its legislative branch to make a law correcting what it thought was wrong, I was very incensed and knew that they were exceeding their authority. That state's people had already passed a law going against the judiciary's opinion!

"My time out"

Time out! To spend at the Masters feet!

Time out! To spend with family!

Time out to read His Word!

Time out to seek His will for the week!

Time out for a Sabbath He would design for my family and me.

Proverbs 3:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: K.J.V. in Public domain

And don't forget, God is your "daddy" ("Abba") so approach boldly and ask for anything. God is a God of love. He loves all his children. Amen? Amen!!

Hello friends!

Thursday, May 28, 2009

Garden news: Tuesday I finished one bed of flowers in the rain and I was soaked but it was worth the price. They are doing nice even after all the rain.

It had rained so much Tuesday and some yesterday; but I worked in my garden just now! It was a little wet but I was able to put some sets in the ground. It is still to wet to put seeds in the ground; maybe by tomorrow. I am happy to have been able to get done what I did. Nice surprise! I had felt it would not even be possible until tomorrow. The air was damp but I loved the out of doors; and I so enjoy the birds singing and the flowers look very nice. My husband saw a Humming bird a couple of days a go, maybe I will see one soon.

I had one of my weak times in the garden and had to go sit down. The birds were singing and some flying about. I just stared singing too. A soft paisae song.
I felt so weak and I know my Lord is so strong I needed Him to help me. As I sit looking at his wonderful creation I just had to praise Him and tell Him how much I loved his creation. How much I love HIM! How much I thank HIM! The birds sang with me. It was a nice peaceful and joyful time. I felt I was not alone. The Lord was with me and so were His wonderful birds singing with all there hearts; I feel the wrens, the cardinals, the Baltimore oriole, song sparrows, joined me in praise of our maker. It says in Godís word let every thing that has breath praise the LORD!

I soon had a second wind and was up and back working in the garden. I worked for another ten minutes and then cleaned my tools and put them away. I came in the house and am resting now. Life is good! I am happy and looking forward to my husband soon coming home from work. It is a good day! God bless you every one! Jenny
