Take heart!

When you need a friend! You may think you are alone! You are not!
If you belong to God, be sure! The Lord will never leave you! He loves you!

Adam and Eve were created perfect! They had the best life and a perfect world. Yet! They believe a lie of an evil stranger (Satan), and they lost it all! Satan reminds me of the bandits along the path of the Good Samaritan story!

Jesus is the hero of our story like the Good Samaritan is the hero of the parable He told. Jesus came to us and cleaned us up, cared for us, and we will someday be with Him forever. Yes! Jesus is a lot like the Good Samaritan! The world and even religious people are like the ones who passed by and did nothing to help the man in need!

Story of the Good Samaritan
Luke 10:
30 Jesus replied with an illustration: “A Jewish man was traveling on a trip from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he was attacked by bandits. They stripped him of his clothes and money, beat him up, and left him half dead beside the road.
31 “By chance a Jewish priest came along; but when he saw the man lying there, he crossed to the other side of the road and passed him by. 32 A Temple assistant walked over and looked at him lying there, but he also passed by on the other side.
33 “Then a despised Samaritan came along, and when he saw the man, he felt deep pity. 34 Kneeling beside him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with medicine and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him. 35 The next day he handed the innkeeper two pieces of silver and told him to take care of the man. ‘If his bill runs higher than that,’ he said, ‘I’ll pay the difference the next time I am here.’
36 “Now which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits?” Jesus asked.
37 The man replied, “The one who showed him mercy.”
Then Jesus said, “Yes, now go and do the same.”

My Hope is n the LORD!
Colossians 3::
12 Since God chose you to be the holy people whom he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
13 You must make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
14 And the most important piece of clothing you must wear is love. Love is what binds us all together in perfect harmony.
15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are all called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
16 Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in your hearts and make you wise. Use his words to teach and counsel each other. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
17 And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father.
23 Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
24 Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and the Master you are serving is Christ.
25 But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites who can get away with evil.

PROVERBS 4 -- from: with the word Bible commentary
The wise person encourages others to hear the Word and find wisdom. The father received wisdom when he was a boy, and he admonished his children to do the same. Live today so that your counsel and example will influence others and help them live wisely.
When you have wisdom, you have protection (v. 6) and promotion (vv. 8–9) and you will have the freedom to make progress (v. 12). As you obey His Word, the light will get brighter on the path of life (v. 18). But this is not true if you are on the path of the wicked.
Again, Solomon emphasized having your whole person controlled by God’s Word (vv. 20–27; Col. 3:16). This will guide you on the right path and keep you from detours.

A Father’s Wise Advice
Proverbs 4
1 My children, listen to me. Listen to your father’s instruction. Pay attention and grow wise,
2 for I am giving you good guidance. Don’t turn away from my teaching.
3 For I, too, was once my father’s son, tenderly loved by my mother as an only child.
4 My father told me, “Take my words to heart. Follow my instructions and you will live.
5 Learn to be wise, and develop good judgment. Don’t forget or turn away from my words.
6 Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you.
7 Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And whatever else you do, get good judgment. 8 If you prize wisdom, she will exalt you. Embrace her and she will honor you. 9 She will place a lovely wreath on your head; she will present you with a beautiful crown.”
10 My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. 11 I will teach you wisdom’s ways and lead you in straight paths.
12 If you live a life guided by wisdom, you won’t limp or stumble as you run. 13 Carry out my instructions; don’t forsake them. Guard them, for they will lead you to a fulfilled life.
14 Do not do as the wicked do or follow the path of evildoers.
15 Avoid their haunts. Turn away and go somewhere else, 16 for evil people cannot sleep until they have done their evil deed for the day. They cannot rest unless they have caused someone to stumble.
17 They eat wickedness and drink violence!
18 The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. 19 But the way of the wicked is like complete darkness. Those who follow it have no idea what they are stumbling over.
20 Pay attention, my child, to what I say. Listen carefully. 21 Don’t lose sight of my words. Let them penetrate deep within your heart, 22 for they bring life and radiant health to anyone who discovers their meaning.
23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do.
24 Avoid all perverse talk; stay far from corrupt speech.
25 Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. 26 Mark out a straight path for your feet; then stick to the path and stay safe. 27 Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.

Psalms 33: 33 1 Let the godly sing with joy to the LORD,
for it is fitting to praise him.
2 Praise the LORD with melodies on the lyre;
make music for him on the ten-stringed harp.
3 Sing new songs of praise to him;
play skillfully on the harp and sing with joy.
4 For the word of the LORD holds true,
and everything he does is worthy of our trust.
5 He loves whatever is just and good,
and his unfailing love fills the earth.
6 The LORD merely spoke,
and the heavens were created.
He breathed the word,
and all the stars were born.
7 He gave the sea its boundaries
and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs.
8 Let everyone in the world fear the LORD,
and let everyone stand in awe of him.
9 For when he spoke, the world began!
It appeared at his command.
10 The LORD shatters the plans of the nations
and thwarts all their schemes.
11 But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever;
his intentions can never be shaken.
12 What joy for the nation whose God is the LORD,
whose people he has chosen for his own.
13 The LORD looks down from heaven
and sees the whole human race.
14 From his throne he observes
all who live on the earth.
15 He made their hearts,
so he understands everything they do.
16 The best-equipped army cannot save a king,
nor is great strength enough to save a warrior.
17 Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory—
for all its strength, it cannot save you.
18 But the LORD watches over those who fear him,
those who rely on his unfailing love.
19 He rescues them from death
and keeps them alive in times of famine.
We depend on the LORD alone to save us.
Only he can help us, protecting us like a shield.
21 In him our hearts rejoice,
for we are trusting in his holy name.
22 Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD,
for our hope is in you alone.

Heaven Father, Thank you for being our help in time of trouble, and need! Thank you for your unfailing love, compassion, and tender mercy! I thank you for your washing my sins away! I praise you for filling me with your Holy Spirit of love divine. I come to you in Thanksgiving and humble submission! You are our hope and song!
Ps. 9:1 I will thank you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
2 I will be filled with joy because of you.
I will sing praises to your name, O Most High. In Jesus Name Amen!

Jenny, thanks again! If I only practice this one thing it would be more than I'm doing now. I copied this sentence from your blog.

And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father.

love, Darlene

Rejection, Pain, love and redemption!

Job 19:19“My best friends abhor me. Those I loved have turned against me. 20I am skin and bones and have escaped death by the skin of my teeth.

JESUS understands rejection! He is the Great Physician and the love of the Father is beyond compare!

Isaiah 53 written over 600 years before Jesus died on the cross!

Isaiah 53: www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search

JESUS You knew from the foundation of the world how men, Your own creation would reject You, yet you love us! How true the Words, GOD IS LOVE! Forgive us LORD!
I am so sorry for Your pain and hurt! I love YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

John 18: www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search
=John%2018&version=KJV

Jesus paid for our sins!

He knew rejection and pain! He is love and He is just! He paid for all sin! WOW! What a God we serve!

Matthew 11: 28Come to me and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. 29-30Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens.”

Jesus loves us! He died! Death was defeated! JESUS LIVES!
He loves us and knew us from the foundation of the world! He is God!
Get to know Him! Read His Word and ask Him to fill you with His love, joy, and Peace! He Cares! I care! God bless you!

Heavenly Father, We come to You in thanksgiving and humble awe of who You are! Thank you for paying for our sins. Thank you for loving us from the foundation of the earth! You know us and all our failures! Yet you paid for our sins! You are to wonderful for words! Thank you for touching hearts, healing wounds, and brings the ones reading this close to your heart. May all who read this find you as Savior and Lord of their lives! In Jesus Name Amen.

I understand that in Jewish synagogues, even though they have readings from all the rest of the Bible, they leave out Isaiah 53 because it points to Jesus so plainly.

KEYS to Victory!

Monday, September 21, 2009

Key to sound sleeps! I need the keys to sound sleep! This is the goal I am working on this month! I am not doing as well as I would like with this goal! Pray for me! I am asking God for wisdom and help! God Word is true! I see victory ahead!

Proverbs 3: 21Have two goals: wisdom—that is, knowing and doing right—and common sense. Don’t let them slip away, 22for they fill you with living energy and bring you honor and respect. 23They keep you safe from defeat and disaster and from stumbling off the trail. 24-26With them on guard you can sleep without fear; you need not be afraid of disaster or the plots of wicked men, for the Lord is with you; he protects you. 33The curse of God is on the wicked, but his blessing is on the upright. 34The Lord mocks at mockers, but helps the humble. 35The wise are promoted to honor, but fools are promoted to shame!

God is my hope, love, light, joy, and peace! My key to Victory!

Psalms 36: 5Your steadfast love, O Lord, is as great as all the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. 6Your justice is as solid as God’s mountains. Your decisions are as full of wisdom as the oceans are with water. You are concerned for men and animals alike. 7How precious is your constant love, O God! All humanity takes refuge in the shadow of your wings. 8You feed them with blessings from your own table and let them drink from your rivers of delight.
9For you are the Fountain of life; our light is from your light. 10Pour out your unfailing love on those who know you! Never stop giving your blessings to those who long to do your will.
11Don’t let these proud men trample me. Don’t let their wicked hands push me around. 12Look! They have fallen. They are thrown down and will not rise again.

I am nothing but I am loved by GOD! JESUS the key to life! (John 14:1-7)
JOHN 14:1 1“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4“And where I go you know, and the way you know.” 5Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” 6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

JOHN 14 From With the word Bible commentary

No wonder the disciples were troubled (vv. 1, 27): Jesus was going to leave them, one of them would betray Him, and Peter would deny Him. Jesus encouraged them by telling them about Himself and the Father.
Jesus takes us to the Father (1–6). We have a home in heaven when life is over, and we shall meet Jesus and the Father. James M. Gray wrote, “Who could mind the journey when the road leads home?” Blessed assurance!
Jesus reveals the Father (7–11). In what He said (7:16) and did (5:19) during His earthly ministry, Jesus revealed the Father: “I and My Father are one” (10:30). How can we not love the Father when He is like Jesus?
Jesus glorifies the Father (12–18). He does it through His people as they do God’s works and keep His commandments. Apart from the power of the Holy Spirit and prayer, we could never glorify the Lord.
Jesus and the Father dwell with us (19–31). It is one thing for us to go to heaven and quite something else for heaven to come to us! There is a deeper fellowship with the Son and the Father for those who love Him, seek Him, and obey Him. We experience His peace as we commune with the Father and the Son in love.
Jesus is the way to the Father; He reveals the truth about the Father; and He shares the life of the Father with us. Why should our hearts be troubled?

Psalms 73: 21When I saw this, what turmoil filled my heart! 22I saw myself so stupid and so ignorant; I must seem like an animal to you, O God. 23But even so, you love me! You are holding my right hand! 24You will keep on guiding me all my life with your wisdom and counsel, and afterwards receive me into the glories of heaven! 25Whom have I in heaven but you? And I desire no one on earth as much as you! 26My health fails; my spirits droop, yet God remains! He is the strength of my heart; he is mine forever!
27But those refusing to worship God will perish, for he destroys those serving other gods.28But as for me, I get as close to him as I can! I have chosen him, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful ways he rescues me.

I can be wise! My key to wisdom!
Psalms111: 10How can men be wise? The only way to begin is by reverence for God. For growth in wisdom comes from obeying his laws. Praise his name forever.

I am being transformed! My key to change!

Romans 12: 1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

My LORD, My GOD my key to HOPE ETERNAL!

Colossians 3: 23Work hard and cheerfully at all you do, just as though you were working for the Lord and not merely for your masters, 24remembering that it is the Lord Christ who is going to pay you, giving you your full portion of all he owns. He is the one you are really working for. 25And if you don’t do your best for him, he will pay you in a way that you won’t like—for he has no special favorites who can get away with shirking.

My key to my inheritance!

Psalms 16:5The Lord himself is my inheritance, my prize. He is my food and drink, my highest joy! He guards all that is mine. 6He sees that I am given pleasant brooks and meadows as my share! What a wonderful inheritance! 7I will bless the Lord who counsels me; he gives me wisdom in the night. He tells me what to do.
8I am always thinking of the Lord; and because he is so near, I never need to stumble or fall.9Heart, body, and soul are filled with joy. 10For you will not leave me among the dead; you will not allow your beloved one to rot in the grave. 11You have let me experience the joys of life and the exquisite pleasures of your own eternal presence.

Key to understanding Two births! One is Key to the fountain of eternal youth!

Normal Birth: One into this world, old age and eternal death follows life’s end here!
New birth: One into life: After physical death, follows God’s Eternal Heavenly Kingdom where the new body will never grow old! A great future to all who will come unto Jesus Christ!

John 3: 3Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7“Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” 9Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?” 10Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11“Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12“If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13“No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15“that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil

JOHN 3From With the word Bible commentary
A birth from above (1–9). In our first birth, we are “born of the flesh” and “born of water”; but in our second birth, we are “born from above [again]” and “born of the Spirit.” Our first birth leads to death, but our second birth brings eternal life. The new birth is a new beginning that results in “newness of life” (Rom. 6:4).
A Savior from above (10–21). Jesus is the Son of God come down from heaven. He is the serpent Moses wrote about (Num. 21:4–9); He is the Father’s love gift (v. 16); He is the Light in a dark world (v. 19). Like the serpent, He was lifted up, and He died on a cross for the sins of the world. All who look to Him by faith receive eternal life.
A witness from above (22–36). John’s ministry was given to him from heaven (v. 27). His task was to bear witness to Jesus (1:6–8). Jesus is the Word, and John was only a voice proclaiming the Word (1:23). Jesus is the Bridegroom, but John was only the best man. John did no miracles, but his witness was used to win people to Christ, even after he was dead (10:40–42). Can you honestly say, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (v. 30)?

Nicodemus
Nicodemus came to Jesus by night, but he finally came out into the light and identified with the Lord Jesus (19:38–42). Nicodemus gave Jesus an honest hearing (7:45–52), examined the Word, and became a believer.

I love how you place the Word of God before you. That Word can NEVER fail!
When we speak God's Word over our lives it produces LIFE and victory.
Whenever I've had sleep disturbances; I have spoken out loud (confessed it over my sleep) Proverbs 3:24, "I will ly down and my sleep will be sweet."

In the natural realm; I'll drink chamomile tea to help wind down - it's calming.

Blessings and victory to you!

I have a sleep disorder -- not the kind where you quit breathing briefly during snoring, but the kind where you don't achieve really deep sleep. I take a small amount of antidepressant which provides the serotonin for better quality sleep. It has made a tremendous difference for me (after years of poor sleep quality).

VICTORY!

VICTORY!

One of my favorite heroines of our time was Corrie Ten Boom. She faced hard things under the heel of a cruel dictator; but held to truth of God and doing what was right in the face of every cruelty. God was with her!. A few years back for Christmas my daughter gave me the Life Lesson from Corrie Ten Boom! This was a exclusive 3 in one edition. Three of her books in one book:
1- “Life lessons from the Hiding Place”
2- “In my Fathers House”
3-“Tramp for the Lord”

Wow! This was one of the best gifts I ever received at Christmas.
I highly recommend it to you! It may be in your local library.
( ISBN:7394-4342-9 Published by Chosen Books a division of Baker Publishing Group.)

GOD'S WAY-MANS WAY!
Psalms 1

Let's read all of Matthew 25 to be ready to meet god on that day!

Why did Corrie Ten Boom and her family suffer?
Answer: They did what Jesus would do and did do, by her own hands worked for the needy.

The Weaver poem form the book page 131
I also found it on the net!
go to this site for all of it!
They did not know the author either:

http://www.sermons.org/story11.html

"My life is like a weaving
Between my God and me.
I do not choose the colors;
He worketh steadily"

Was it worth all the pain and suffering for the Ten Boom family?

In the beginning God…..God had made a perfect world! No sin, no sickness, no death, no war, no population control, no trash, it was perfect. Yet God gave man a free will that they would not be robots. Man chose sin and death; pain and sorrow; and hell. God who is just and full of love and mercy for mankind; came in the form of man, he, Jesus did not sin, and paid for our sins on a cruel cross that we might life in a place perfect forever in Heaven with Him; in a body that will have eternal youth! Man still has free will! They can choose Jesus or sin! Heaven or hell! Man still has free will! What do you choose?

Corrie Ten Boom is in Paradise today; she has a new body that will never grow old, in a place were there is no sin, sickness, death, pain or fear of any kind. She is for every with Jesus who is love!

Matthew 6: 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safe from thieves. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be.

Romans 12:1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.

WHAT IS VICTORY? VICTORY IS TO WALK of obedience WITH GOD!

Ever since I read "The Hiding Place," I have admired the courage to do the godly thing of Corrie and her family. It has encouraged me to walk with God as they did.

A number of years ago, I read an interview of her. She said one of her most difficult times of testing was after a speech she gave one time. A man came forward. She recognized him as one of the guards in the prison situation. He asked for forgiveness. She said that for a moment she wavered because of all the memories and emotions. Yet, in obedience to God, she prayed for God to help her to forgive. She told him that she forgave him and was overwhelmed by the feeling of love that God gave her!!!

To God be the glory!!!
