Busy Busy as usual

Saturday, October 25, 2014

I guess I am just too busy to blog.

Kept the girls for 6 months and their mom is doing better.

1 year and a month ago my son disowned me and his girls mom stole my wallet but since there was not much in it but credit cards that I was able to cancel they did not want to prosecute.

We have moved out of Fair Grove and downsized to a smaller house. It is just Travis, Sam and I

I have 6 weeks left of this semester of school then I student teach and I will be done. Finally accomplishing this journey I set out on.

With this mess that happened last year I lost my son, my mother, my aunt, my sis, my bro, my nieces and my nephews from my life but realized how much Travis really means to me. We are closer than we have ever been in this 18 years we have been together.

Sam is good. We had a little rough patch trying to adjust meds but she is in an adult daycare full time so I can finish school and she has an awesome in home aide that I love to death and sam gets a long great with her.

I am working out again. Shooting for 10 miles daily and the weight is starting to come off again. Went all the way back up to 184 this time because of all last years stress. I am below 180 again and so happy.

Update on my busy life

Sunday, April 14, 2013

First of all I lost 2 pounds since my last blog.

Second.
I am now a family of 7 people and not just 4. On March 20th I went down and got my nieces because their mama (my sis in law) was about to be evicted, plus was reported by dfs again. Saying there was no supervision, drug use, head lice and a few other things that I can not think of at the moment.

I am now the "Parent" of 5. My two kids at ages 17 and 19 and then the girls are almost 3, 6 and almost 9. This has been quite an ordeal for them but I never thought of how much of an ordeal it has been for me.

They are girls as I stated, I never raised typical girls so this is new to me. Plus we have a picky eater and big time attitudes with dicipline. Today was the first time that the oldest got stuck in time out for her attitude.

I have not been on my treadmill since they got here. I have been having major issues with getting my homework done on time. I do have my mother in law to watch them when I need to go to class so I am not depending on my mother for this brood, she only keeps Sam.

The girls mother has since moved out of the apartment complex she was in and moved in with a guy she has known (not dated) for years and is trying to see if it will work between them. If so and Family services closes the case she can get the girls back, until then they are here.

Well thats my life.

Wow you have a lot going on! You were put in those girls lives for a reason, and you may be the best influence on them. What a lot for you to take on. You can do it.

CONGRATULATIONS on losing TWO pounds! You can be proud!

And, wow! You're suddenly mom to a lot more kids! The new children probably are unfamiliar with discipline. You've got your work cut out for you, including school work. But someday you'll look back on all this and wonder how in the world you did it all but be very glad that you did! Take care of yourself, too.

Weight loss

Monday, March 11, 2013

I am at 167 in my weight now. That is 18 pounds since Christmas. The size 12 jeans mentioned in the last blog are now mine and I have 3 or 4 pairs of them. My issue now is tops.

Before when I would lose weight I would not lose from my chest area and I would stay in the large and x large tops just because I hate tight things. Now some of them tops are so loose that I find myself throwing 3-4 tops out everytime I get ready to go to class. It finally got to where I had to go shopping (2nd hand but still) and get more tops. I went to Platos Closet and got a few, Clothes Mentor was another place I went. I even went to TARGET and bought a top.

I do have a problem with something though. Why is it that when you go to the store for clothing, the plus size clothing has some really cute tops but you look for that top in regular size its not there. :(

None the less I am wearing MEDIUMS!!

That's exactly what I think - about the plus sizes having some cute things!

I would also recommend some of the resale and thrift stores in the area - Ozark has some nice ones - Weezies and Neat Repeats; Nixa has has a couple, but I don't recall their names right now...I have been to a couple in Republic as well.

Keep up the great work!

That is awesome that you have lost the weight and are fitting into smaller clothes! I have to admit though that your second to last sentence is so backwards to what used to happen to me! I used to see all these cute clothes in the regular sizes and not see them in plus size emoticon Keep up the good work!

Weight weirdness

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

When I change my weight on the fitbit it changes on the spark site. Well it was rather interesting. I went down to 172 and then Mother nature hit and I went back to 177 and back down to 175 by the time the week was over. Now I weigh back at 173. It is so nice to see the weight coming off and I see the changes in my clothes. Not big ones but little ones.

Small rewards

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

I went yesterday (Monday) to get my teeth relined. Almost broke due to payday being Friday, I couldn't think of anything to do.

I decided instead of sitting there all day to go to Walmart and ate lunch at Subway. Then I looked around at the clearance stuff and decided to see how much jeans would be when I did have the money to go buy some.

I wear a size 16 in the Riders by Lee (usually all that I buy is riders by lee, they fit most generally better then others) so I grabbed a size 14 and went to try them on. They FIT!! So I went and grabbed a pair of size 12s!! The size 12s also FIT!! They were tight but I could still breathe!! I was so happy. So now when I do get some money I can go buy a smaller size or two in jeans.

Its the little things that catch you off guard when you think you are not losing weight check the clothing.

Wonderful! And won't you look forward to going to get them!

This brought back a very nice memory, and I liked my Riders as well. In fact, I think maybe I need to go get some! I have been wearing some "hand me downs" in my current size, but I surely did like my Riders!
