FINALLY

A decent weight loss. I lost 2 this week and I couldn't be happier. I think knowing what I need to do has helped. Felt lost before that I wasn't sure what was going to work and not. But working out everyday is key along with 10 glasses of water and healthy foods and of course my shakes. I am starting to eat cleaner, fruits, veggies, lean meats and nuts. Low on the carbs like breads. I have cut down on breads in the last two weeks and I think it has helped. Ever read the Paleo diet? I looked it up and I can do that. Eat as many fruits and veggies that I want with my shakes and lean meats. AWESOME!!! Let keep this going and go down down down!! Cheers to next
week and another 2 pounds down.

I did zumba today for 90 minutes and had soo much fun!!! Zumba again on Monday and then after that will be combo dvds of different workouts. Can't wait I am pumped now!!!!

Taking on the Plateau

Okay so I have been on a Plateau for 3 years. Well I have gained and lost up and down but nothing to really cal weight loss. Ever since I joined the gym. I feel like it is a chemistry test on what to eat and how much of calories, fat, sugar, carbs, salt, fiber etc. I have been asking everyone what is wrong. What am I doing wrong? FINALLY my mentor tells me I am eating too much protein and not working out enough. SO I have a new PLAN. change on of my snacks to a veggie, Drink more water, Stay away from the Vi cookies for now, work out 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes. And last but not least track your food so you know if your getting enough calories in. Okay so I need discipline to get up at 6am every morning to do my 30 minutes of Pilates/yoga, tapout, Turbo fire and maybe some Wii games that I have like zumba, biggest loser, wii fit plus etc. I will pick one and I can do a different one every morning so mixing it up.Now if the kids stay asleep while I do this we will be great LOL So here we go!!!! Bring it I am ready, plan in place and I am ready to lose this stupid weight. Goal is to lose 25 pounds by the beginning of November I have 5 week to get it done. 5 pounds a week is a TALL order but I am going for it!!!

I haven't written a blog since June. I guess I always feel bad about writing them because others can see it and I just don't want to write one to complain about stupid stuff in my life. Frustrated is how I have been feeling lately. I have TONS of work to do and feel that it just keeps piling up and there is nothing I can do about it. We are working with a lawyer for the house and I have paperwork to fill out, I am PTO president and I have the beginning of the year stuff to do for them as well as events to go to, I run a daycare out of my home and the state is putting pressure on us to get a grant so we can make more money but the things they want us to do is ridiculous and have no time to get them done. And finally I have another home base business that I LOVE!! I tend to work more on that then anything else I am supposed to do. Changing people's lives is hard work because no one wants to listen. I have a great product that could save someone life and change it for the better. But when it comes to talking to people about HEALTH and being HEALTHY they don't want to hear it. They shut down. Maybe that is why the obesity rate is through the roof and now our children are fat. I see so many kids that are huge and then I look at the parents and they are huge as well. I just shake my head and think I need to help them!!!! On approaching them I tell them i don't want to be rude but I have something that can change their life!!! Next question is what do you do for work and how many hours in a week do you put in? Sometimes it works sometimes I get the look like I don't want help leave me alone. Just giving out the info in hopes it will help. This business will change in the next few months and NOW is the time to jump on board is make some money while losing weight with a great tasting shake that taste like cake. Well I guess that is all I have to say today I guess I will post something else tomorrow LOL

Reflection on SASS challenge

Well this challenge is just like all the others. I am not doing so well. Between my mother in law dying, my cat having to be put down and having money issues I have decided I am depressed about everything. This challenge I gained a total of 2 pounds and I have to say I am glad it was only 2. During this challenge I decided to change things up at the end and stop doing zumba 4 times a week and try and get up early to workout. That was 4 weeks ago and I haven't gotten up early once. emoticon
My goals for the next challenge is to get over this depression hump and start working on me. Get up early and workout for at least 30 minutes. But this requires going to bed early which is tough since I do EVERYTHING at the house and by the time I get the kids to bed and clean up it is almost 1030pm!!! SO we will try harder to get this stuff done before the kids go to bed so I have time to relax. The next challenge I would like to get down to where I was which is 235 and I am at 260 now. Very sad that I have gained almost ALL of my weight back and I haven't lost anyweight since I joined the gym almost 3 years ago. I should just go back to walking every day for 45 minutes cuz that seemed to work. Only thing with that is I was pushing the kids in a stroller and they are 6 now LOL. Well i dunno if this is what I was supposed to reflect on but hard to reflect when you feeling down.

    emoticon emoticon I think the best part of reflecting is you take one look back and then you let it go forever. You've been through so much. And stress and grief both do terrible things to our bodies. Time to put yourself back on your list, and even if it's starting a streak of 10 fitness per day and 8 glasses of water streak. Every choice you make will make a difference. Hopefully the challenge this new season will be motivating and not overwhelming. So we can all ROCK IT!

    I know you can do this too! We are all right here behind you. I know a few of us deal with depression issues. Hence my pep talks to myself in the daily blogs to try and force out all of the negative. lol! But we're in this together fighting everyday. WE CAN DO THIS!!!

    Sorry to hear girl! Life challenges do make it hard to fit in time for ourself as well as stay upbeat. Wishing for things to turn around for you next challenge, so you can get some "you" time.

Does the gym offer childcare where the kids could come with you and maybe have fun of their own while fitting in your workout? Or can you incorporate them in some how to another form of working out in the evening together outdoors - tennis court for some tennis, badmitton, kickball game, hopscotch (you have to walk in place in between turns), you walk and they ride bikes,... The options are probably endless but thought I'd throw out some options.
