Number 1: It is raining here. California is in a drought, the rain isn't enough, but anything is better than nothing.

Number 2: I got to the gym.

Number 3: I watched too much science fiction tv, but it was wonderful.

Number 1: My younger son got braces put on his lower teeth and isn't saying that it hurts. Also he picked red and white on the top teeth and green and white for the bottom. He looks very festive.

Number 2: Tea is still wonderful. I am drinking tons of it.

Number 3: Even with having a cold and the orthodontist we got stuff done yesterday. This is good.

Number 1: The guy from the mortgage company came and looked at the house. We are trying to get rid of PMI and this is the last step. We should find out soon.

Number 2: It rained. This is good for the plants and good for the state. I am drinking tea.

Number 3: My husband found a Captain Archer from Enterprise jacket that looks really cool. Archer is my favorite of all the Star Trek Captains. I am still thinking about if I would wear it enough.

Number 1: I saw my trainer and he thinks all that diet and exercise stuff that the online coach is doing might actually be making a difference. This is good. The trainer was very skeptical about the online part and the diet part. But he isn't arguing anymore. Woohoo! We also worked on trying to do a pull up some more. We discovered that my hand strength is really low and that is causing problems. I don't know if there is anything that can be done about that....

Number 2: I went to music lessons and did okay. I managed to get more practicing in this week and it shows. Next Thursday is Thanksgiving so no lesson then.

Number 3: Tea is a wonderful thing. I am really enjoying the pumpkin spice tea from Trader Joe's. Yumm!

emoticon I'm glad that the diet and exercise stuff is making a difference. And good job on your recorder practice. You should come up north and we can do duets.
I've never tried pumpkin spice tea. You're making me want to try it.

Number 1: I went to the gym. It was cold and I didn't really want to go, but I did anyway and it was good.

Number 2: Park day was nice. We brought the batting tee that arrived last week and tried it out. It is so much easier to hit off it than the bad pitches my kids were giving me. We found out that a wiffle ball that has been left outside for a long time is brittle and when hit it shatters. (I did that much to the amusement and surprise of my boys.)

We also found out that some friends may be moving back to Australia. This would be very sad because their little boy is the one kid near my youngest's age at the park. Youngest is heart broken at the thought of his friend moving away. It is possible that their Dad will find a new job that he likes and the H1B visa will be renewed, but they are definitely on the clock.

Number 3: In good news, my older kids passed the CHSPE! This is big. This is a high school proficiency exam. This means I haven't messed up all these years of homeschooling! It also will give them better access to the community college so I don't have to teach lab science next year. Or foreign language. Or anything else! Woohoo!

Number 4: In other good news, youngest blocked a goal at water polo. Unfortunately, he blocked with his face and it bounced away and the other team recovered and did score, but still. He blocked a shot. It was impressive enough that when play stopped the coach/ref walked over to the goal and asked him if he was okay to continue. He said he was fine and did. He may be young and slow, but he could be a good goalie if he continues.

Congratulations on the test! I'm glad that you like your batting tee. That's funny about the wiffle ball
