Major Restart

I have been away for quite awhile. I have maintained and even managed to lose a few more pounds. The problem is this:
Last night, my vision started getting blurry and I got a major headache. Checked my blood sugar and yup you guessed it. Over 300. I have noticed myself backslide on what goes in my mouth. I have lots of excuses..
It has been winter, just can't get myself out to run when there is 12 inchs of snow on the ground.
I run a gym, I workout all the time. (Looking back, while I spend tons of time at the gym, my actual workout time, yeah not so much.)
I have been traveling like crazy. (While this is true, I have been in warmer climates, FL, GA, CA. Kinda does not make since that I haven't been out doing something plus there is always a gym in my hotel.)
Time to get this blood sugar back under control and take my life back. I am so ready to get this going.

So today is my restart day.. What will the future hold?

BL19 Smart Goals

Specific Goals
1. Lose 2 lbs a week
2. Finish C25K training
3. Run a 5K
4. Learn to eat w/i nutritional goals while traveling.

Measurement
1. Weigh in at least once a week.
2. Use the C25K app to track training.
3. Scheduled for July 13 (MLB Allstar 5K)

Countdown to BL19 & BL Purple Team

I am working on two seperate Biggest Loser Challenges. BL19 starts Wednesday and BL Purple is half way through. I really like the BL challenges. It has accountability and motivation all together what more could I ask for.

So here I am sitting in my hotel room, bored out of my mind. I do not normally watch TV at home because there is just to much going on so I'm flipping through the channels and then it hits.

Craving....Now I do not have cravings at home either. I have not had a single craving that was not attached to Dr Pepper in forever. But I'm sitting here, bored and thinking you know I really really want something to eat.

What is she craving do you ask? Well, this is the tell all. I am craving strawberries and blackberries. Fresh sweet fruit.

I'll be honest I caved to the craving, but when you have that yummy fresh nutrious goodness in the fridge cravings aren't necessarily a bad thing.

BL19 Goals

Looking at what I want to accomplish for this challenge:

Nutrition: My goal is to eat within calorie range 90% or greater.
To reduce my soda intake to 1 bottle or less a day

Exercise: Complete the C25K program.
Start the 5K210K program.
Cardio 60 or more minutes a day 7 days a week
Strength training 5 days a week

Psychological: To take 30 minutes to myself a day.

Taking Stock of March

March ended up pretty good.

I lost a total of 5.3 lbs and a total of 10 inches. Woo Hoo, I love it. This is working slowly but surely!!!!
