Only 26 days until I leave for Forida!!! WOOHOO!!!

Last week was not my greatest week... kinda got a lot going on in my personal life which always adds stress. Some of my work days are soo busy that I don't have even a minute to eat. So there were a few days that I didn't eat for 8-10 hours then ate at 9-10pm. Definetly not the best idea. I did get a decent amount of exercise in so that was good! My 5k training is going well, but I haven't been doing it as consistently as before. :(

My plan/goals for this week:
-Eat 4-5 smalls meals per day
-Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day
-5k training on MWF
-Lose 3lbs!

I think this is very attainable! Just gotta be consistent!

On a happy note I went shopping Saturday for some new clothes because I've lost a decent amount and guess what?!?! I am down 2 whole sizes!!! I was a Size 16 just 2 short months ago, now I am a solid 12!! WOOHOO!!!! I bought 4 new jeans, a new dress, a new swimsuit and several new tops!! And althought I didn't lose a shoe size I still bought a couple pairs of shoes! LOL! :) It felt amazing!!

Time is flying by!!! I can't believe my vacation is in 35 days and my bday is in 92!! It's bittersweet I guess... I am so ready for vacation but not so ready to turn 30! lol!!

My plan is working great for me!! Down 22lbs since 5/23/11 and still working hard! My 5k training is still going strong as well. I am actually really enjoying it which is very suprising! I hope that by the time I go to Florida I will be able to jog the whole thing and be able to run on the beach!! WOOHOO!!

Everything else is going well too! I really hope I can stay this motivated and contiue this journey in a big way! ;)

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shew... that felt good! lol

So my weekend was fairly eventful. I worked in the salon Saturday and was CRAZY busy! By the time I got home from work I was pooped... so no running for me! :( Then Sunday I slept in (finally) and around 1 I decided to go visit my parents about 95 miles away. I got there around 3pm and did some running around with them and my little brother. Then got back to their house at 6ish and cooked dinner. I did great! My sis and nephew came over and we all played outside then lit fireworks until 11. Woke up Monday to an enormous country style breakfast!! I made decent choices and the choices that weren't ideal I kept the portions small! I got in the pool at 11 and stayed there until 4! Had a quick lunch and grabbed my stuff and headed back to Louisville. I was about 15 minutes away from the house and my hubby asked me to stop and get dinner. No Problemo! Taco Bell ... sure! I know I can make good choices there!! I did really great over the weekend tho... I deserve a prize! Right!?!? So let's eat a Nachos Bellegrande with all the trimmings!! WHAT?!?! Again I say AHHHHHHHHHH... I know one Nachos Bellgrande isn't going to ruin everything I worked for but I just couldn't understand why I chose to slack off then. I did so great all weekend with temptation all around but I didn't give... so why then? Guess my will power couldn't take anymore. Well anyways my Tuesday wasn't so fabulous either... not that I ate a bunch of crap... I just didn't eat much at all and again NO running!!

So did I change my attitude today... no.. I skipped breakfast.. I've only had 4 oz of water and maybe 400 calories! I also did not bring my running shoes so blah! However, I do have a volleyball game at 6:45 so maybe that will "spark' some kind of enthusiasm... maybe...

It's not that I want to give up I just feel exhausted and I can't snap out of it! Maybe I am putting too much on my plate... I am working about 60 hours a week right now and the hours are kinda all over the place. This makes it hard for me to set a schedule which makes it hard for meal planning. I kinda got into a running schedule but it has not worked out this week. I just have to make an effort to keep going and just do the best I can! I can't sweat the small stuff and I gotta be happy with my best!!

    The last couple of weeks have been like that for me. So much stuff going on. I am trying to take this attitude: If I mess up, the next meal (not the next day) is a chance to be good.

What a great week!! I am so proud of myself for not giving up after the donut fiasco on Sunday!! :)

I decided to give myself mini weight goals until I go on vacation! Basically I will be weighing in every Friday and plan to lose 2 pounds per week!! If I can do that I will be in the 180s!! I can do this!!

Week 1 of my weigh in went right as planned!! WOOHOO!! :)

Wow I can't believe its been 3 weeks since my last blog! Well I've been doing great!! I am on week 3 of the Couch-to-5K program and I am kicking butt!! I am still doing the low-carb thing and have been doing great but then yesterday I broke down! :( Not only did I eat tortillas from Taco Bell but I binged on donuts! :( I never felt so sick to my stomach in my life!! I was really upset at myself last night but I can't do that! I can't me mad at myself for veering off track for a day! I can only be happy with my progress and get back on that horse!! I am down to 198 so that is 14lbs since doing low-carb!! If I continue to watch my carb/sugar intake and workout I know I can lose more weight! I have about 7 weeks until my Florida trip and would love to lose 15lbs!! I will also be finished with my 5k program and will be able to run on the beach while on vacation!!

So although I got down to 196 but am up to 198 I REFUSE to be over 200!! Any motivation is greatly appreciated!!!! :0)

You can't change the past, but you can learn from it and move on. Next time those tortillas are calling your name, remember how sick they made you can choose better next time.

You can totally lose more weight before your vacation. And congratulations on your C25k program! I'm working up the motivation to start it myself. I have the materials - just haven't yet gotten into the plan yet. Keep up the great work!!

    You can absolutely shed plenty before vacation. Today is a new day, the sun is shining and the donuts are in the past! Go get em!

    i started at 195 i am down 2 174 thats a 21 pound loss so hows that 4 motivation if i can do it so can u! emoticon
