When it rains, it pours....

Wednesday, October 17, 2007

Well as most of you know by birthday was Monday, which is usually considered a national holiday! Tthanks for all the birthday wishes!)
However, this year I was home sick!! I was also home sick yesterday! Great way to spend my birthday. :(
I do feel much better today, physically anyways...

We found out this morning that my fiance's grandmother has cancer in both her lungs and her brain. How devasting?! She is a great, loving women and the whole situation seems unreal... I am trying to stay positive for Curtis, but deep down I am so scared!! (Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers!)

On top of that, my new nephew is having trouble with his bowel movements. My sister has to take him to a specialist next week so hopefully they will find out the problem and all will be better!

While physically I feel much better, my emotions are not doing so well....

So if you don't see me being very active on the threads, you will understand why...

A Giggle for the Girls

Wednesday, October 03, 2007

I thought this was really cute and wanted to share with all my female friends! Hope you enjoy! :0)

One for the girls

Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord
my shape to keep.

Please no wrinkles, Please no bags

And please lift my butt before it sags.

Please no age spots, Please no gray

And as for my belly, Please take it away.

Please keep me healthy, Please keep me young,

And thank you Dear Lord, For all that you've done.

Pleasant awakening

Thursday, September 27, 2007

The last several days I have been in Edinburgh, IN (about 30 miles south of Indy). I was visiting my parents, lil bro, lil sis, and new baby nephew! I had an awesome time! It really helped me focus on the important things and quit stressing over situations that don't matter.

I have not been myself the last several months. I have been really emotional, needy, dependent, and moody! I hated it! It was making every aspect of my life miserable! Well not any more! This vacation opened my eyes! I am ready to focus on what matters most to me, my family, my friends... and my fantastic fiance! :0)

Thanks everyone for putting up with my sh*t!!! I love you guys!!... well most of you guys... LOL!!!

I hope I'm in the "love" bunch!
Glad to see you're back to you! Regardless of your "neediness" you've still inspired this ol' girl to get off her fat butt and here I am - nearly 20 lbs lighter and it's thanks to you and Spark!
