I've realized that I love cooking/baking things that take a long time because then I don't get bored and eat.

So I weighed in this morning and realized that I have lost 5.8lbs since the beginning of my Spark Journey :) That made me feel so motivated that I upped my distance at the gym and did 3 miles instead of my usual 2. I did them slowly but I still burned 450 calories.

After I exercised I went to my grandma's and cleaned her house then made some whole wheat pita bread. Yum, yum, yum. Took FOREVER to make though. I'll post pics later. My dinner was pita bread and hummus.

I got home and realized I still had a ton of calories that I was supposed to eat today so I used a peanut butter brownie recipe and modified it to make them peanut butter nutella brownies. So delicious. I'm still 700 behind in cals and I'm way below on all of my other values but I don't want to eat if I'm not hungry so I guess I'm just off today.

Oh well, I still had a really good day :)

    emoticon on your weight loss and for doing extra walking to celebrate! emoticon

Be careful about eating too few calories, especially if you're working out regularly. Sometimes people find they don't lose weight if they don't eat enough because their bodies go into starvation mode. There are articles about it on SP.

so i'm back from my dad's jujitsu convention and i have NO IDEA how much i ate but i was so busy, walking all over the hotel and disneyland that i didn't gain any weight, which was nice.

today for dinner i made three bean soup and it was sooo good. i only made half the recipe and i still have a ton left over so i plan on eating more later on in the week. with my dinner i had a cup of cantaloupe (with a dash of salt) and a cup of iced green tea. yummy, yummy, yummy.

i start school in a week so i'm dreading trying to keep my diet/excercise routine up while i'm so busy. i hope i can stick to it.

    I started back to school last week and so far I am keeping up with both healthy eating and my exercise. I know you can do it too!

so i did end up eating a little more than i had planned since kari decided to get popcorn and i couldn't resist but i still made it within my calorie count :)

we ate dinner at my grandma's house so i cooked another spark recipe i found; it's called skillet lasagna and let me tell you, it is delicious. i loved it. i plan on making it a lot more often.

this weekend is my dad's big convention for jujitsu. i'll be in a hotel friday through monday and then we're going to disneyland on monday. i won't have any internet so i'll have to log my calories in a notebook :( i hope i can stay on track when i'm not home!! the hotel is supposed to have a fitness center so i fully plan on taking advantage of that. well, wish me luck! i'll be back on tuesday.
