Okay so here we go...adjusting myself here. The only way I can figure that I got ahead (not on mileage...that was just me being ambitious, willing, and clueless I suppose) by a week was that, prior to the official start of my training...I was running 3-4 days a week and each run was 3.5 miles. Well, that meant I started a week prior and should have blogged. Not a biggie. So here I am...hoping that getting ahead on miles means I did myself a bit of a favor on learning about endurance. Even if I was taking it easy on my tempo...my body is at least accustomed to 3 solid long run weeks of 10+ miles. My short runs have remained short...so not a big deal. So I was blessed with a shorter long run Sunday. I had a full plate, and woke up early. I was eyeballing time and knew I had to stop and get myself ready and my kiddos too...so instead of 6.0 I did 4.29. Not gonna fret about it. I was very short on my energy bar...but given my distance...it's okay. I'll need them for next week.
