Ok, I warned you I was bad at keeping this blogging up! But we can always start again... I am an expert at starting again!.
So let me tell you ----- consistency is something teases me just outside my reach. I do well for a while then bang! I fall off the wheel --- hard!
I've been pretty good about tracking my food, only missing a few days. But the exercise -- well not so much.
But the real hurdle -- stress eating and attitude adjustments have been met! I was met in January with "We are changing your job -- you will no longer be an IT Analyst but we are putting you back into nursing at the bedside two days per week" While I stay in IT 2 days per week, all the analyst jobs were removed. This happened to five of us (all RN's) one of our group left altogether to explore other avenues. So the four remaining muddled through being treated like outcasts by the very people we worked with! Which only put fuel to the fire!
So after some long talks with the woman in the mirror and working with some awesome nurses on the patient care side,,,, I have overcome this bout with stress eating! Even losing the pounds that I had gained.
Even my husband agrees that I am a much happier person again. All because I have a purpose again in my job.
So thank you to all my nurse friends for helping to pull me out of the miry pit of stress anger/disappointment/hurt. They are all awesome!!! emoticon

Gotta tell ya this morning --- We got a little dog yesterday afternoon!!
she is so cute, 2 years old and a chihuahua/dachshund mix. She warmed up to me as soon as we got home. Now I have a little walking partner (she probably won't be able to go real fast -- short legs!)

Stayed on track yesterday, even lost almost a pound -- Clothes are starting to fit better, so now I don't have to worry as much about bending over and ripping something! LOL
Went on a bike ride too, yesterday -- 47 minutes with the hubby. emoticon emoticon

Ok, so I am a bad blogger! I have missed days writing a blog -- another goal to meet!
so everything is going pretty well, tracking my food, really evaluating whether or not I really need or want that extra bite!
I am improving on my exercise, but not yet at an everyday state, but that is one of my goals too (at least exercising on those days I don't have to work a 12 hour shift!)

Feeling good, scale is getting smaller, eating better, taking my lunch (so saving some $$),
all in all I am GOOD!!! emoticon

Well, plans changed (as they often do) but for the better--- I got off early today so off to the greenway trail to walk 2 miles with DH.
Had a really nice walk -- sun was shining, although it was still a little cool, but what a day!!!

Tomorrow is back to work. emoticon but feeling good!

Found my sparky thingy... so happy about that.
I woke up to find white stuff coming from the sky! So no walking outside today. So I got myself together and went to the gym.
I did the treadmill and elipital -- good workout! Tracked my food and feeling good!

I have to work a 12 hour shift tomorrow but will be taking the stairs whenever possible and tracking my food -- already made my lunch too! emoticon emoticon emoticon
