Did great yesterday and last night even with the potluck at church (we usally have the last Wednesday night of the month after Bible study)
GREAT with Curves and Curves Smart. The SP tracker said I burned 205 calories from my workout but with Curves Smart it was actually 301 burn. I made my day. I went in the afternoon this time and I believe it made all the difference.
I have been better at getting enough fiber from good carbs so I do not have to put as much flax meal in my scrambled eggs,rice or what ever. Flax is wonderful but it can not ne mixed in everything.
My emotions have been a little up and down...Saturday ,Febuary 2 will be 4 years since my husband went to Heaven. God has been so good to us but it still raises questions and reminds me of how the girl must realy miss their daddy,also. We talk about Chris but I will never know all thier thought and feeling.
I do not like being a single parent.

Not a good day and feeling like a zero.
I started out good making the girls whole grain Farina with rasians and having a Curves shake. I did not do well at Curves( It is earlier than I usally go so maybe my body was not quite awake emoticon ).I have a love/hate relationship with CURVES Smart.
For lunch I made the girls homemade beef stroganoff and ate more than I should. Notice I said I made it for the girls. It would have been ok if I would have just had the spinach and green beans,that were our sides, and eggs or beans but pasta is a weakness.
On the bright side I only had 2 cups of coffee with hot chocolate and 2 cups off dandilion tea(it taste like coffee with no caffeine and many health benifits).
Was good for dinner and had a spinach and cheese omelette and a little brown rice.
Apple for night snack. emoticon

    emoticon This is not a Race. You don't have to get everything "Right" every day.
emoticon I think a "Love / Hate" Relationship with CurvesSmart is Perfectly Normal -- IF You Are Working The machines as hard as you can, not 'Just going thru the motions'

    Baby steps. Just knowing what we are eating is one of the most important things we can learn. Then we can incorporate portion control, etc...etc... You are on your way, be proud of yourself!

    Looks like you whipped that food into shape by the end of the day so you're taking back the control little by little! Glad you went to Curves even though it wasn't the best time you've had there. I have some mornings like that at the gym too, but still get a workout even my attitude hasn't checked in.

aaaagreat on working out but not on weight loss

I am a bit frustrated. I have been to Curves 12 times this month (what they recommend) and could easily get to or 3 more times in this month. I also walk ,elliptical stepper and work out DVD some times...but weight seems hard to get off.
I know some may have to do with my thyroid but I am taking something for it.
I need to stay on tracking and working out at Curves no less than 3 times a week but I also need to workout at home with the DVD after the kids go to bed. This is going to be hard but not impossible.

10 workout so far this month

Curves encourages its member to workout 12 or more times there a month. I am happy to say I already have 10 in and believe it will not be hard to get in 14. I love to exercise at Curves but I need to schedule it at a good time or times that i will always be able to make.
I invited my sister to join Sparks people today and she did. It must take a few days because i have not been able to find her yet. emoticon Please have a wonderful evening /day depending on when you read this emoticon

    That's great! I loved the Curves-type place I belonged several years ago until they went out of business. Our Curves is not convenient and at the time was more spendy. I'm content with Anytime Fitness and am making it work instead.

    Great job! Keep up the persistence and good work! I had a really hard time finding people on sparkpeople for some reason in the past and I'm pretty computer savvy. I had to join the same team as my mother to find her for whatever reason. Her username never came up when I searched it (and she has her page pulled up on her laptop in front of me so I know I had the correct username). I think it may be a spark glitch.
