So, I went to the Doctor for a check-up from my November high-blood-pressure issue. While my BP is under control on the fluid pill, my weight certainly wasn't. I have been avoiding the scale for a reason, and it was right there staring at me. It was ugly...I have gained 20 pounds in a year. I am not at my heaviest, but I am damn close. Too close.
So, here I am again relying on Spark People to get this weight off. Today I downloaded 2 new apps to my Kindle. One for Yoga and another for Daily Workouts. What I like about the workout app is that I can determine the length of the workout and what body part I want to work out. There is even a neat little timer that counts down how much time is left on each part. I like technology so hopefully this will be beneficial. Tomorrow morning I will start with a 10 minute workout, then do 20 minutes of Yoga when I get home from work.
I have my breakfasts and lunches prepared for the week, so I just need to make my salads every morning for my lunch. Snacks will be veggie sticks and carrots. I know this will work, and I want to stick to it because bathing suit season is just around the corner, lol.
