Well I managed to lose another 2lbs this past week. It is going slower than it has in the past but I think it will stay off this time. When I started I was around 435lbs and got down to 416. I shot back up though to 435 again. I had lost the weight fast the last time. Now it is more like two lbs a week. I am back down to the lowest I have been since I started now.
So I am back at 416. These are the things I have learned:
1. You can not lose it fast and not expect to put it back on because you are probably doing a crash diet. Those never last long. It takes a change of the mind towards food and how much we need. Slow and easy will last. I believe that.
2. Stress is a killer. Do whatever you have to to keep it low! If not you may eat out of stress. Some of the best ways to do that is by thinking about other things you enjoy rather than food. Yes you can stress about food. Take it easy. Fight your battles at meal time and the rest of the time try to do something else.
3. Working out is hard to start but easy once you get going. It takes 28 days to make a habit. What better habit to have?
