My way is to DO something. So after my moment of " What's wrong, Why me? Why isn't this working anymore?" (suspecting it's my body just getting old and slowing down), I do my research to form my "Never-say-die" plan. I did it before -- OK so now it's harder, but I'll do it again, AND boy will I ever remember how hard it was to get if off, so I'll stick to the life-plan this time!
So I'll share my notes with you. These are all actions that will rev up your metabolism. Do as many as you can:
Begin the day with yoga. A couple of complete sun salutations will do, or for a bit more, do Dr. Oz's morning routine. www.oprah.com/health/Dr-Ozs-7-Minute
Drink some cold water with lemon (some suggest adding fiber to the water).
Eat 4 times a day.
Lower carbs (all carbs) and fat.
Take 500 mg. of white bean extract 1/2 hour before breakfast.
Eat a high protein breakfast (eggs or protein powder smoothies are great).
Take 50 mg. of forskolin.
Snack on tahini dip.
Go for a brisk half-hour walk.
Eat peppers with your high protein & veggie lunch.
Use olive oil.
Drink green tea (or even better, take green tea capsules containing 70% EGCG)
Eat peppers with lunch, as well as dill weed and chives.
Chew sugarless gum.
Do strength training.
Drink LOTS of water.
Cook dinner with coconut oil.
Have 1 glass red wine or coffee, tea or dairy with dinner.
On a normal day, don't cut your calories below 1,000.
Once or twice a week detox: Eat organic, drink lots of water and tea, eat lots of veggies, exercise mildly.
