Lack of Sleep

Wednesday, October 07, 2009

I have such a hard time going to sleep. It really makes my days difficult.

I didn't get any extra walking in today but I did Level 3 of the 30 Day Shred. Tonight I just don't feel as energized. Oh well...Tomorrow is another day.

Good night and God Bless

Your body is talking to you...it is tired.

Todays main page has an article on insomnia, check it out (I haven't read it yet, hopefully it will give some suggestions)

Take care,
Kelly

Bakers Cyst!!

Tuesday, October 06, 2009

Well it's back...My knee is swollen and so is the cyst. Thankfully it's just uncomfortable and isn't painful;!

Today was a great day of exercise! I did Level 3 of Jillian's 30 Day Shred and walked for 3.2 miles. I was able to log all my food and stayed within my calorie range. It really helps when I pre-plan my lunch and snacks for work, otherwise I hit the snack machine and get something at that cafeteria which is usually too salty and high in fat!

Good night for now and God Bless!! emoticon

Crazy day at work!

Monday, October 05, 2009

We were completely bogged down at work and I did not have time to log any of my food. On the other hand my workout was great. I did 35 minutes on the treadmill and went 2.5 miles, and 30 Day Shred I did Level 2 and then Level 1!! emoticon

I actually feel really good!

It's late, but I wrote down my food for the day and will log it in tomorrow.

Good Night and God Bless!!

Made Up for Yesterday

Sunday, October 04, 2009

Today I did all three levels on Jillian Micheals 30 Day Shred! All in all I don't feel to bad. Of course tomorrow I may be extremely stiff, but that's the price to pay for beauty emoticon!!

I kept track of my food and did well. I was in the high range for my calories but still OK.

DH is doing better today. It was a soldier who he had trained many years ago. He still takes these very hard. All I can do is stand by him and love him! Thanks to all who have kept our military in your prayers. emoticon

God is still on the Throne and Prayer changes things,
Good night and God Bless

Sad-Bad Day

Saturday, October 03, 2009

DH just lost one of his soldiers in Afghanistan. Needless to say it's been an extremely rough day.
No exercise and I did not track any food.

I know this is late and have nothing to add to the wonderful words already expressed except to add my deepest condolences to the fallen soldiers family and of course to your husband and his unit.

I am so sorry!!!! Just be ther for your husband, don't worry about what you did or did not do yesterday. Your suporting him is the best thing you can do right now. As Veteran's Day approaches, our troops have been on my mind more lately. My son also just left for part of his weekend duty. I appreciate the position of those in charge of our troops and the hard decisions they make. You & your husband are in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about your husbands loss.. We know they are professionals, but somewhere there is also a family whom is grieving and needing this person lost in action. Just know people outside the states appreciate your husbands mens hard work.
Keep healthy and strong for your husband, he needs you keep strong and balanced to get through this horrible loss too. Lossing a soldier is never good, I wish these wars would end..
We need to work together as a planet instead of declaring war..
