End of Day 1

Day went well. I never did get hungry, in fact I stayed full most of the day.

I also started Level 2 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I stared out with lighter weights than I normally use so that I could get used to the routine. I'm glad I did, it was definitely a step up from Level 1. I will probably go up to heavier weights by the third day of Level 2.

Here Comes the Ugly Truth!

Weight: 153 lbs

Bust: 43"

Waist: 36.5"

Hips: 39"

Upper Arm: 11"

Thigh: 20"

Calf: 14"

I logged my first meal and am completely shocked at the amount of calories. I am feeling stuffed right now.

As you can see, my waist measurement is not at all in proportion with the rest of me. My arms and legs are small though.


Changing My Diet

Tomorrow, Sunday 3/29/09, I am going to start a regimented diet. I'm exercising regularly now (with the exception of injury or illness). However my weight has not changed at all! It probably has to so with a few things, 1) I'm on HRT and I can tell they have wrecked havoc on my system, 2) I drink too much alcohol when we go out and 3) I really do not get enough sleep during the week.

So tomorrow I will do the first four days of the "Flat Belly Diet" (Prevention) and then move on to the "South Beach Diet". The first four days of the "FBD" are designed to get rid of bell bloat. Since I carry most of my weight in my midsection I thought this might give me a good kick start. I have done South Beach before and have had good success.

Tomorrow my Blog will start with my beginning stats, ie., weight and measurements. In the evening I will tell how my day went, feelings, hunger (if any), energy, etc. I'll also be open for any questions.


Week 4 Bonus Challenge

I really like the work outs. They are just challenging enough so that I'm able to tell that they are getting easier each time. I'll also include them in my work outs after the Bootcamp is over.

I have written down my food, but still have to log the last two days. This is an improvement for me, since I find it difficult to write it all down when I eat. I'm unable to access most sites on my computer at work so I have to log it all in at night.

I'm looking forward to seeing what my waist measurement will be this week.


New You Boot Camp Week 3

Made it through week 2 just fine. My weight is not going down but I have a tendancy to lose weight all of a sudden, Hopefully next week my weight will follow. I'm also going to try harder to log what I eat and bring healthy snacks to work.
