    Thanks gals for your support.. I love your breakfast ideas. I floss, but flossed more last night. LOL I Exercised by lifting boxes up a ladder to attic for 30 minutes. emoticon PS had broccoli for dinner.

  So true about flossing and I don't think a lot of people know it can be connected to the heart. I think you educated some today. That's why having your teeth clean more than once a year is also important. You're saving your heart.

    I like apples and oranges. I like to cut up my apples and put them in my yogurt or just dunk them in my yogurt. I also like strawberries in season. Today I got my exercise by shoveling snow. I usually go to the fitness center but everything was shut down today! Keep up the good work and enjoy!

    I agree, If you read I mentioned non formal exercise. It is necessary for a healthy life style. Take a walk, enjoy the view. Use the steps, park away from the door. Dance
around the house at least to one song. I do agree to some exercise. Was referring to the mega routines that people start..quit..and then get discouraged.

  I don't believe in staying sedentary even if you get to a normal BMI. Thin does not mean healthy. Moving your body is so good for you in so many ways. You don't have to do formal exercise you can just do so many steps a day in your normal life like taking stairs instead of the elevator or parking a block away from where you are going and walking that last block.

Especially for those of us over 50 you want a strong body so you don't break bones and can recover from illness quicker.

    At the end of your video, yourEYE CONTACT was better! Watch news caster on TV, they just glance at their prompter. I have neither microwave nor freezer, and my coffee is perked on my propane stove!

    You need to move and exercise, I am referring to the 1-2 hours of exercise every day.
etc. Most of us can add more movement dance a little, wiggle a little at the computer and park away from the store not close. Stuff like that. emoticon

    Good job, Jansam! LOL You're just turning into an ol' pro with this stuff, aren't ya? You GO, girl! I don't know if you know DDoorn on here, but he's one of my sparky buds and he's sent me some really interesting articles re: the food sources used in the U.S. He sent one last week that said that all of the wheat products sold in the U.S. are made from GMO wheat that has been genetically modified since the 70s and scientists have discovered that it supposedly contains a protein that actually stimulates the hunger/pleasure centers of your brain. I have noticed along this route that whenever I stumble and eat things that I used to eat that are of the processed variety, I have more of a problem controlling my cravings.....but you know, it stands to reason. These manufacturers have spent millions doing psychological studies of consumers for decades, so it's not a stretch to think they have also done studies to find ingredients that keep you coming back to their products. Kinda sad, but hey, in a free market society, the almighty dollar is the name of the game, I guess.

    I think we are doomed to eat genetically modified corn. WalMart's produce is all GMO. So even the popcorn that you air pop for yourself will be chemically engineered.. Even the seeds you buy from Burpee. SHEESH!

    Canned food is also lined with plastic. It's better to eat fresh or frozen. . The microwave also zaps a lot of nutrition right out of food. I heard of a study where they watered two plants, one with microwaved water, the other with water from the faucet. The plant watered with the microwave water died. I just try to avoid using the microwave. We use it a few times a week. I've actually considered just getting rid of it all together. Good information.

    That is just too, too cute, Jansam! LOL Kudos to you for figuring out how to do that, btw.....I am so technically challenged it's not even funny, I've never attempted a video blog. Rooting for ya, gf, I know you can do it. I've pretty much fallen off of sparks, too, but I'm continuing to do this on my own, just not being very good about tracking my food OR my exercises. (sigh) I think I've kinda lost interest in it all the way around, really. Kudos to you for jumping back on the wagon, and wishing you great success!

Well I thought I was the smart one. I dont need spark I can do this on my own. well I cant!!!
So for the Second time since I lost and regained I am at it again. Two days in..before I admitted to the Spark people may failure. OK I am not a failure but my eating habits stunk. emoticon .
I have not gained all my weight back but was on my way big time. Stops here. I am going to try
video blog and stick to this. thanks for reading hope I can do the video blog.. will be good

    If the VLOGs will keep you accountable, by all means DO IT! I've watch all three. Keep 'em coming!
I found that SP taught me good eating habits, but like you, I haven't been too consistent with exercise. I'll check in every time you post a VLOG. I get notices in my email box!

And you actually CAN do it on your own, but sparks is a good thing to come back to when you find you have more trouble doing that and it's nice to know that it is always here, isn't it?
