"I give up -- What now?"

Tuesday, May 21, 2013

New team, new outlook. I'm going to stop beating myself up. I have a new team and new ideas. No diet yet, but thinking about it. Can't believe how often I fall off the wagon and have to start again. Why let this go on?

The more I think about it the more realize that it is just like being an alcoholic -- the lure of the taste and texture is worth the trouble. You have to eat to live and I just haven't found the magic combination yet.

It's hard. I get up every day determined to do right and at some point I end up messing up. I have started to be thankful for the time I don't mess up and hope there is less failure all the time. Good luck!

Measure your portions, healthier foods and always HALF the sugar. It amazes me how much sugar is used.
I love to bake but I always halve the sugar.
I also use canola oil instead of butter or oleo of any kind. Healthier too. HUGS Pat in Maine.
PS did you foot leg heal with no residual pain? emoticon emoticon emoticon

New spark team -- I Give Up -- What now?

Sunday, May 12, 2013

Hello -- I have started a new Spark team. It's called "I give up -- What now?" I am so tired of people getting back on track , etc. I am tracking al my food right now trying to see what's going wrong. My dieting is helping me gain weight. It needs to stop now. All are welcome with any suggestions.

I just blogged the very same thing. Now what for me is staying on track with food, staying on track with exercise, learning to love myself as I am, and not gain weight. I am focusing on being healthy and enjoying my life. I'm weary of always looking at the scale and being frustrated/angry/sad. This site is supposed to be about healthy living so that is what I will focus on. Having said that, know that I have said that before and fell back into the lose weight mentality. Hopefully, not this time--it does not make me happy or enjoy my life. When I posted my blog I was surprised at how many responses I received from people at the same place in their journey! Good luck!

I feel exactly the same way.
I refuse to weigh myself till the next two weeks i might need to do it.
I do not track weight li left me very frustrated/ I have had a plateau for about 2 years at 176.6
I used to wear 20/22 now 16's are good at a suggestion from a friend I measured my waist. No change there either now that is weird.

I was asked to buy and give away some Spark solution books. I bought one at the beginning but it just arrived friday. I paid for mine but I did get DVDs of coach nicole and I was very happy. I only wanted to read it and do it for 2 weeks I will do everything by the book.

I blogged about this about a week ago. Once I got feedback that others are struggling I decided I was stressing myself out.
\Now I call this my healthy website not a diet. I feel so much less stress.Using Spark my medical issues are resolved to the point of not needing medications but i do carefully test my FBS I will keep up with exercise and see how it goes.
If you look good and feel great and feel healthy. That works for me. i do not want to be thin i want to be healthy. HUGS Pat in Maine.

Poor guy, he looks like he is handling it just fine.
I also love his eyes. He certainly looks like a happy boy. How old is he?
Maybe you should have a contest to see who is right.

I will guess 6 years old.
I am happy to be in touch again.
Is your ankle 100% by now I hope so. Do you have any problem with range of motion ot pain. I hope all is totally well. HUGS Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon
