For the 3rd night in a row I have been awake till after 4am.
I am trying to break the habit I have of eating before sleeping.

The 2nd night I gave in at 4.45am, but only allowed myself to eat an apple.'

Do not know how long it is going to take but I am going to WIN!!

    i have bouts of insomnia like that. it takes awhile but it does go away. now i'm up to fall asleep at 11, wake up at 5, 6, 730 :P good luck!

It is 2.36am and I cannot sleep! went to bed at 10.30pm and have been like a jumping bean ever since....
I want to eat!!
I really want to eat!!
Have drunk so much water to try and stop the wanting that now part of the reason I cannot sleep is the water!!!

It is cold in the office so I have come in here to try and make myself --what--- tired by typing ---- tired by getting cold ---- distracted from my incessant mind and rumbling tummy....

going back to bed... the cat is not happy with me...


Thanks for that... the problem with reading is I cannot stop reading or thinking about it.. Addictive personality with OCD tendencies.... ahhh ... and the cat just bit me emoticon

    Try eating a healthy snack before bedtime or a glass of warm milk when you can't sleep. If you are truly hungry, try something healthy--I like to keep baby carrots to snack on when water doesn't do the trick.

    I hate when I get insomnia! I know how you feel because I've been there too. For me, reading in bed helps put my mind at ease and allows me to fall asleep. If hunger is keeping you awake though, try eating a health snack before bed. P.S. - Your cat will get over it. Mine always does. emoticon

New Month


New Start

72kg damn... have alll the excuses under the sun....

Headed back up to where I was...

Not going to happen....

Get a grip.... get some backbone..... stop fartarsing around.....

You are better than this.... look what you did in 19 weeks last year....

Goal 58kg.... should be doable and not too thin for a 60 year old...

72 now 58 goal = 14kg to lose....

1st of Oct is 22 weeks..

Going to reset goals and start again.

    I love it that you climbed Mt. Sinai. I'm sure that it was a difficult feat, and I'm inspired by you! I can also believe that it was fun, and that event could be the model for your ongoing fitness journey. Have fun--don't whip yourself to do exercise. Instead of aiming for a magic number on the scale, aim for being able to accomplish a fitness task or size of clothing. You have already made significant progress, and I am cheering for you!

lost 0.4 not a lot but at least it is a loss.
Have been up and down with eating and exercise so glad of the loss..
