Lost a pound this week! Still a bit over on the calories each day but way down fromwhat Iwas eating. And back to exercise!

Back again to work on weight again. Lots of stuff the last few months. One daughter married and she had my first grandchild. the other daughter's engagement broken and she returned home (The sad drama still working out) Professionally new chair of Grand River Conservaton Authority. Passed controversial Light Rail Progect at my municipal council. Now it's July 1st, Canada Day and all is temporarily calm. So time to get back to weight loss and lifestyle.
Again. Up 5 pounds from February, not bad with all the stress! On ward and downward. Don't want a sickness from me to add to my older daughter's distress. And want to play with my grandbaby.

I have kept within my calorie range for 3 days! This is a big accomplishement.
Also upping the exercise again after a slow week with a sore knee.

Enjoyable exercise

While eating is still a challenge, my exercise is going well. The diabetes dietitian said I would have to exercise for an hour to lose weight! I am actually doing it on some days and it is a pleasure! Who knew.
Saturday did an hour of Curves Zumba (OK after that one I was stiff) and this morning the dog and I went for a walk in the woods for 45 minutes.Lovely big white flakes of snow and a workout plowing throught the fresh snow. Dog loved the smells and I liked the fresh snow on the trees.
At the end, Knave lay down and I had to encourage him to head home! Even the dog needs to get into shape.

    Just did an hour of Zumba dancing. What a workout and what fun!

    Everything must balance out. Food does have it's place of course afterall we eat at LEAST 4 or 5 times a day and it's MEANT to be enjoyed ! But if your focus is to much on food and not on other things its to much then. Sounds like your enjoying other things also,,, YEAH !!!!!!! CONGRATS on doing the excerise,,,what do you enjoy the most?
