Dear me

Wednesday, November 03, 2010

Dear me,
I have decided to write you this letter because I am disgusted with you. You have managed to sabatoge yourself week after week. I understand you had surgery and you really need to quit using that as an excuse. I know that you can't workout, I understand that you now have another issue Achilles tendonitis and I know you are in pain. But you have got to move on, pick your head up high and keep trudging. You have come so far! Look at yourself, you have lost 100 pounds.. yes I know you put back on 10 of that when you have surgery but your not super woman. You deserve the best, and you can't give up so stop saving all the excuses. Just stop already. Start over and let's get this 70 pounds off for good. I know you can do it.

I'm pumped and ready! I have to keep my head out of the fridge and my mind into this! I feel so motivated today and ready to do this! I'm getting my head back into the game!! WORK IT OUT!

Thank you for all your support! This has been a really tough time for me especially since my fitness down time. Working out has always kept me motiated but when you are in constant pain working out is the last thing you want to do. I just thank God that this ACL thing didn't happen while I was 360pounds because I don't think I would have been able to handle it! Again thank you for everything!

Your attitude will help you through this. I had an MCL repair and didn't have support from a group like SparkPeople. I hope you will feel free to come back and look for support from the group. We are here to cheer you on.

My weekend deals!

Tuesday, July 13, 2010

So this morning I am up and off to therapy. It's at 7:30am, woke up a bit stiff but I am shaking it off! This weekend I went to an awesome garage sale and got a treadmill (for hubby to bad on my knees) and got me an elliptical both nordic track for $50 bucks a piece. These things are BRAND new and retail for over $1500.00 ( i looked them up online) they didn't even have dust on them! I am so greatful and excited. I am doing really well on my diet now if I can just get this knee going I will b in good shape! Wish me luck!

Winning by losing - Julian Micheal's book

Monday, July 12, 2010

So I have been trying to read this book and really get into it for about a month now. I got it before my surgery but was to out of it to really read. But it is a really good book and has a lot of information. Teaches you in simple terms about the good fats, bad carbs all those controversial things in an easy to understand way. I am however very disappointed that per Julian my can't believe it's not butter has a WHOPPING 900calories and 90 grams of fat per container. That just makes me sad.
