  My blessings today:

A warm house! It is only 13 degrees right now, but fortunately less windy than yesterday, but cold.

Had time to relax yesterday evening and watched THE SOUND OF MUSIC (my all time favorite that my DH bought for me for Christmas -- DVD, Blu-ray, CD of the music, book about the Von Trapp family and another book about the making of the movie and a wonderful music box (plays My Favorite Things!) LOVE IT.

Got my fitness minutes in.

There is so much kindness in the world, I just have to look for it and appreciate it.

I gave someone a closer parking space at the store and took a shopping cart in from the parking lot.

My daughter took some decorations down from the tree without me asking.

Robert was in a better mood today. Sleep definately helped him.

  I helped someone reach something they couldn't reach. Now you have to understand I am only 4 ft 10-1/2 in! So, I surmise this person was about 4 ft. 8 in. Felt good to help her. I know how it feels to NOT be able to reach something and nobody is around!

DD actually did help with dishes last night without being asked, prodded, nagged, cajoled! WOO HOO!

  Here are my blessing for today:

DH is home . . . last day of holiday for him.

Everyone is HEALTHY! WooHoo!!!!

My brother's business is doing splendidly! He's been @ it for 19 yrs. Good guy, good brother, hard worker.

Mom and Dad are doing alright -- health issues they have, but they're taking care of themselves AND each other.

Libby's Kindness Challenge, 1/2/12

There is so much kindness in the world.

My parents had us to dinner yesterday.

So many well wishes and smiles at church.

The youth led worship.

As a family we began creating routines.

My brother and his wife reached a compromise with the family. It was so nice to be able to see most of them for the holidays. It was such a nice suprise and a great compromise.

  DH went to get photo paper to copy off Christmas pics so I can send them to my parents. They have a computer, but do NOT do the "picture thing".
