Lately I've come to realize that I have a problem commiting to things. I'm great at starting! I go into all sorts of projects with gusto! Then I seem to get distracted by something else, or I just get bored. I've seen this in myself with many hobbies, projects left unfinished, and even my marriage. ![]()

Thanks to a swollen sore knee my Sparking has gotten off to a much slower start than I'd hoped! I wore my brace to work last night, and my knee seemed to feel a bit better when I woke up. Unfortunately it didn't take long for me to realize that it is still not happy. I wanted to work out and walk the dog today, and that was simply not going to happen. So I decided that I could do at least one of those things if I couldn't do both. The dog really appreciated that I chose to walk! My knee is still swollen and sore, and I have to work a long shift tonight at work, but I can't let these things stop me. I think when my body realizes that I'm going to get fit and healthy anyway it will stop coming up with all these aches and pains that try to stop me.
The weather is beautiful today and Apple and I enjoyed our 1.5 mile walk! Tomorrow I'm going to the farm to do a bit of work out there and enjoy some more time outside. Wednesday we're (hubby and I) going to Eureka Springs, AR and we'll be walking around the town there. Life is looking up!

put a bag of frozen peas on your knee every chance you get and when you can sit down, elevate your leg. don't dare your body to show you who is boss, or it will! believe me I know, I learned the hard way............ great that you could get out and walk Apple, I think we burn triple the calories when we're outside..........
