So, I ran a 10K race yesterday. Came in at 1:06:22 which means close to 11 minutes miles. Since my half marathon was about 12 minute miles, that means I'm improving. Woot! The husband ran it as well - his longest race yet. He came in just about a minute ahead of me.
Of course, this was a "destination" race, as in, we weren't home, so we ate out all weekend. Yikes.
Now, I am beginning Project Lose-Ten-Pounds-Before-the-Half-Marathon. LTPBHM for short.

Days to go: 32
Things to push me toward goal today: it's a fast day until dinner and I will restart my strength training tonight
Okay, now I have to go teach my first day of classes!
