Weight: 169.0, coming down!

Doesn't hurt that yesterday I lugged beds and boxes around camp for a while, including up stairs. I can feel that too, ouch! Then, when I came home, we went for a 2.5 mile run. I didn't do anything this morning other than my sun salutations because I ache and we're doing low ropes course today, which can be a workout in itself.

I did do something I shouldn't have yesterday, which was eat sugar! Our camp director brought us starburst and smarties and lollypops, and I totally had more than I should. I need to have a 1 piece rule in the future. I have a healthy snack with me, no need for sugar.

Maybe, if I'm not wasted by the end of today, I'll do some kickboxing before dinner.

Wednesday: hooray! Karaoke night. Woot! Also, WOOHOO Wednesday. I'm glad that I was able to create myself what I think will be an effective lunch/snack combo for this summer.

Time to go play in the mud!

Masquerading As A Man With A Reason

Today's title from my favorite Carry On My Wayward Son (a Supernatural favorite for my SPNers out there!)

First day of pre-camp was fun! We ended early even, that won't happen today or tomorrow, and Thursday is cookout and sleepover, yay!

Weight: 169.4! Of course, yesterday was half fasting, but I needed it. I didn't do more exercise yesterday, but I did play the accordion for an hour and a half, which takes a lot of upper body strength and requires standing.

This morning, I did biking intervals and we should run this evening if it doesn't rain.

I have to bring lunch and snack all summer, so I put together my lunch plan: 1 large chicken sausage (this week apple flavored!) and a few pieces of local cheese, cut carrots, radishes, and cucumber with homemade guacamole and sour cream, fruit (local cherries and strawberries right now). Then my snack is an apple and natural peanut butter.

Almost time for camp! yay!

Some Call It Fun and Some Just Call It Madness

I start pre-camp training week today! I'm super excited.

My post-weekend weight is 171.4, acceptable start to the week. I ran 5 miles yesterday, so that was good. I did yoga this morning already. I'm hoping we get some moving activity in at camp today, but training can mean a lot of sitting and talking.

I am now a certified archery instructor, which is awesome. I also really enjoyed archery. I can't wait to teach it to little kids.

I'm not sure how busy and crazy camp is going to make me. I'm going to try and continue to blog daily, but it may get less as the week progresses and then spin back around since I'm off on weekends.

Either way, you know I'll be getting out and having fun!

Gunpowder and Lead

I don't usually like country songs, but I have a soft spot for songs about sticking it to mean who were terrible to women. Just a thing. I like Goodbye, Earl as well. That's because today's lyric is from Miranda Lambert.

So, my weight was down to 170.0 this morning! That's a drop of 5 lbs of vacation weight in two days, sounds good to me.

I didn't do my extra strength yesterday, but I did do it this morning, along with 10 minutes of biking intervals, so I'm feeling good about that. We should run this evening, but that may depend on the rain. I should make sure I do at least 20 minutes of something either way.

Today is my last day of chilling at home, then I head to two days of archery training, then Sunday, and Monday starts pre-camp training week for the Girl Scout Day Camp I'm working at. I might be a bit less on here after today, but I'll try. However, I should be getting good exercise in at camp!

Okay, off to my last day of freedom, or boredom, depending on how it goes. I like to be busier than this, you know.

Familiar, but not too Familiar

Well, the water weight's coming off: 172.4 this morning.
I also did bodyweight cardio, strength training, walking, and running yesterday. Today, I did some kickboxing and maybe I'll do some intervals later, and of course, strength tonight.

Today I'm back on eating, so I need to be careful to only eat the specified amounts at specified times and NO MUNCHING! I should have plenty to keep me busy.
