I don't usually like country songs, but I have a soft spot for songs about sticking it to mean who were terrible to women. Just a thing. I like Goodbye, Earl as well. That's because today's lyric is from Miranda Lambert.

So, my weight was down to 170.0 this morning! That's a drop of 5 lbs of vacation weight in two days, sounds good to me.

I didn't do my extra strength yesterday, but I did do it this morning, along with 10 minutes of biking intervals, so I'm feeling good about that. We should run this evening, but that may depend on the rain. I should make sure I do at least 20 minutes of something either way.

Today is my last day of chilling at home, then I head to two days of archery training, then Sunday, and Monday starts pre-camp training week for the Girl Scout Day Camp I'm working at. I might be a bit less on here after today, but I'll try. However, I should be getting good exercise in at camp!

Okay, off to my last day of freedom, or boredom, depending on how it goes. I like to be busier than this, you know.

Familiar, but not too Familiar

Song title today from the opening to a podcast I love.

Well, the water weight's coming off: 172.4 this morning.
I also did bodyweight cardio, strength training, walking, and running yesterday. Today, I did some kickboxing and maybe I'll do some intervals later, and of course, strength tonight.

Today I'm back on eating, so I need to be careful to only eat the specified amounts at specified times and NO MUNCHING! I should have plenty to keep me busy.

Welcome to the Jungle

I am back! My title is Guns n' Roses.

Let me give you the quick rundown of my vacation. We went to Disney World from Wednesday through Saturday morning. We had fun, check out the new Star Tours and did some of our favorite classics. We went out to nice dinners and hung out at my favorite piano bar for two nights. We also used the opportunity to celebrate my parent's and my anniversary. Theirs was actually Friday, 33 years, and our 4th will be in early July, but we'll be too busy to do more than dinner.

We drove back from Disney to Tampa on Saturday where my parents live and went to see the Green Lantern (not great) and then on Sunday we went to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game.

So, the final result of all this is that I'm back up at 175 lbs, some of which is definitely water weight. We did run Saturday night, but other than that and walking around Disney, exercise was minimal. This morning, I did a quick bodyweight cardio sequence to get back into the swing of things.

So, this week I am home for three days and then off to an archery training for the day I'm going to work at Friday-Saturday, woohoo! That should mean I will be seriously on track this week. Yup, I can do it!

Another Opening, Another Show

I get the strangest music stuck in my head. We did that one at a Cabaret-style show that I put together in high school. It was way fun.

So, my week of no grains/no sugar comes to an acceptable conclusion at 168.8, and today and tomorrow both have parties with baked goods. Fortunately, today's party also has fruits and veggies and tomorrow's will have some good stuff as well. I just have to keep up strong with exercise and go light on the rest of my food.

I didn't do my strength last night, nor running, the latter because we had massive thunderstorms and the former because I had massive cramps. I will make that up tonight for sure though. I did do a good power yoga this morning, and I will run tomorrow and Sunday for sure.

It's Fabulous Friday and I'm throwing myself a party! Well, it's mostly because I'm ending my current job, but I still love a party! I plan to play games, eat yums, and have fun!

Got any good weekend plans?

    My plans? I'd rather think about all that fun you'll be having!

I'm cooking up a healthy storm, because we have guests on Monday, and i'ts a holiday here, so I have to do the shopping/prep on Saturday. Only healthy foods will be served at my table... when I get healthy every benefits.
