Happy Monday morning! It totally rained all day yesterday, but I still got my strength done at least. It's supposed to rain all week, which is going to put a kink in our running. Still, we have the stationary bike, and so exercise will happen.
Weigh-in today 173.0, I'm always a little up post-weekend but will be down again tomorrow post-fast.

This morning weigh-in: 172.0
Today was Choir Sunday at church and we sang a Haydn Mass (a short one). It was awesome. The choir was fabulous, our instrumentalists were great, and I talked for a couple of minutes about what music in church means to me, which went over perfectly.
Then I ate a terrible gluten-free bagel in an attempt to get some good cream cheeses. I need to learn to make gluten-free bagels, because the selection currently in Whole Foods is pretty terrible. I have some ideas, so next time I have time, that's happening.
It's raining so I may or may not run today but I will stationary bike if I don't run. That's later though, because Dungeons and Dragons is in an hour and we just ate Brench (that's a more balanced way of saying Brunch) which was an Italian Frittata.
So, today's plan is to get stuff done, exercise, and no snacking between now and dinner. I can do that.

Well, it's the middle of the day on Saturday already. However, I went shopping, did a mini strength workout, ran 4 miles, had breakfast, and showered already, so I think I'm good.
Weigh-in this morning was 171.4, still going down. That was post-fast although we did go out to dinner, so we'll see where tomorrow takes me.
I joined a Biggest Loser Challenge for the summer on my gaming team, so I'm hoping that keeps me moving in the right direction as much as possible this summer. Also, the running will keep ramping up again, so that will definitely help.
I'm still kind of munchy, but I'm saying no more than yes, I think.
Anyway, our plan for the day is to go see a movie, Priest, I believe. Looks pretty cool. Then, probably just chill. My husband got a new iMac yesterday, so he's mostly playing with his toy.
I need to plan some dinners this week. I haven't done that yet. Okay, here's what I got:
Something Asian with sprouts and baby bok choy and rice noodles
Chicken and dumplings with lots of veggies in with the chicken
Spinach and goat cheese stuffed chicken with squash/zucchini/tomato/leek/chickpea casserole and salad
Some kind of meat with baked potatoes and steamed broccoli/cauliflower
Cheesy chicken, rice, and broccoli and salad
Carnitas with a bean/corn/tomato side dish
Italian quiche with spaghetti crust
Okay. I like the sound of all of that. Leaving for the movie soon. Have a great weekend!

Today is UMass graduation! That only means one thing to me: work from home. I don't want to be anywhere near the thousands of kids and their families today. That's nice, because it means I get a relaxing day where I don't have to catch buses or worry about troubleshooting equipment. I can also work while sitting on my couch and watching tv, which I actually do very well.
So, yesterday was okay. I ate about right, just a little bit of snacking. I ran in the morning and did strength in the evening. Today is a fast day, so I just need to stay busy. I'm making a big thing of iced tea out of Berry Zinger and Wild Blueberry so I'll be sipping that for a while. It is beautiful out, so I may even try and work outside for a bit. Or just take an outside break, we'll see. Actually, a walk would be a great idea, and I rarely get to do that at work.
It's fabulous Friday, and I think just having a nice relaxing day works for that! A walk in the sunshine would also be fabulous.
Today my weigh-in was 172.8, yesterday it was 172.0 but I was in different clothes. I need to track that here. If I fail to give my daily weigh-in, someone ask me about it, okay!
So, I've got work to do, tea to drink, and True Blood to watch.

So, Comcast offered me a short term deal that got us HBO for a while. It's nice because we get to watch Game of Thrones, which is awesome, but also I get HBO-Go on the computer so I've been watching True Blood like it's my job. I love vampires. Used to watch Forever Knight and I've read all the Vampire Chronicles. I don't like the sparkly ones, though. You know what I mean.
Yesterday was a pretty good day for diet and exercise. I did minect kickboxing in the morning and legs and shoulders in the evening. I didn't munch really at all. I had two relatively small drinks at karaoke. For the whiskey/scotch crowd: Johnny Walker Red is my new cheap-bar favorite. We also played karaoke roulette, meaning random songs off of a 100 song list. It was fun. I sang Sgt. Pepper and Purple Haze, which are songs I would never usually pick!
Today I'm going running, in about half an hour, actually. Then having a pretty typical eating day. That's my plan anyway.
It's Thankful Thursday and I'm thankful for the longer days of summer, because it's 5:35am and I could run now because it's light enough.
Work is all about manuscripts and paperwork and data. Ack. At least I have plenty to do.
