Day 15: HALFWAY!

Day 15 of the 30 day program, that deserves a WOOHOO! Although, I intend to stay off the sugar until Feb. 1st

Workouts are rocking, and I think I had a water woosh of sorts because my waist feels thinner, as in, my pants feel looser.

The diet is still going well, although low carb tomorrow on a Saturday will be a true test.

I've worked out that I'm probably walking up 380 stairs every day in my stair interval workout. That means 1900 stairs a week. That's a lot of stairs, and they never get easier. Stairs are always hard, whew!

Okay. I'm off for the night, 4 workouts done, all meals eaten, time to chill and then sleep.

Onward and upward!

    I did stairs for my cardio last night and it killed me! I had the pyramid workout to do after and I was burnt out! So woohoo for doing so many steps!

Day 14: Vanilla Smoothie

I am still enjoying my January Meltdown (courtesy of Dax Moy www.londonpersonaltrainingstudio.com ).

I am 14 days of exercising 3-4 times a day, no sugar no artificial sweeteners, no processed foods, almost no dairy, ummm ... yes, that's it.

I have also been doing the low carb Wave, and apparently 3 days of low carb I can handle without completely losing my energy or ability to function. Then, when I hit carb days, fruit and potatoes or rice seem really yummy!

I'm working out like a maniac, and definitely getting stronger.

Tonight, I made myself a vanilla-peanut butter smoothie. It had almond milk, which has lots of protein and fiber, natural peanut butter, vanilla Aria protein powder, some flax meal, some vanilla extract, and a single packet of stevia blended with 7 ice cubes. This one was a little gritty, but pretty delicious.

Tomorrow is Friday, hooray!

Day 13: Results!

Finally, things are starting to catch up, as I figured they would. So here's some changes from 1/1 to 1/13

Weight: 163.4 to 158.7 (4.7 lbs down!!)

thigh (4" above knee): 17 to 17.25
thigh (8" above knee): 19.5 to 19.25
hips: 40 to 38.25
waist: 32 to 32
chest: 42 to 42
bicep: 11.5 to 11

Measurements aren't great, but they were taken after dinner instead of first thing in the morning, so I need to remeasure tomorrow. My weight though is starting to see change. I'm almost back to pre-Thanksgiving, woohoo!

My workouts are rocking. I feel stronger every time I do anything, and I keep moving, and I really feel like I have lots of energy, even on the lower carb days. I'm still happily avoiding junk and sugar. I keep telling people that I'm avoiding sugar and everyone is very impressed.

I started the Spark, and I love it! Chris Downie is an incredible guy. I'm not too far in yet.

Okay, gotta run, do some stuff, workout, and then karaoke, yay! I just have to avoid drinking anything tonight. No alcohol on my diet. Singing on the other hand is encouraged!

Day 12: Still Moving

It was a 12 hour day, so I'm a little wasted. I couldn't fit 4 separate workouts because of that, but I just did the last two together tonight. I'm still doing well and tomorrow is a higher carb day which means: FRUIT!!! Never thought I'd be excited about fruit.

    Good for you for still sticking with your exercise even after a long day! I'm still not at the excited to eat fruit phase, but I'm slowing enjoying it more and more :)

Day 10: Ups and Downs

Good news: on track, doing great, workouts rock.

Bad news: really awesome high school teacher died. kind of sad, consoling with other high school friends on facebook. Social networking is wonderful.

Need sleep. Busy week ahead.
