One week and I've lost 3 lbs.!
I know that's an awful lot for one week and it won't be like this every week but boy it sure gives me incentive to keep going. Last week I only took a couple of 2 miles walks, this week I'm hoping to exercise a minimum of 3 days for about an hour.
I like weighing in on Friday, it helps me stay more focused for weekend, which as we all know, can be a very difficult time to watch what we're eating.
To all my SP friends ~ get some rest, eat in moderation and enjoy your weekend!

We had much-needed rain and t-storms early this morning and today is absolutely beautiful. The 90-100 degree heat is gone for now, and it's partly cloudy and only around 80. Feels so good!
Not much time today, busy.
To all SP out there, don't give up, stay positive even the smallest things will add up to big things, be patient.

How many of you saw Angela's story on the Today Show this morning? What an inspiration!
It's Day 3 and so far I've only watched and tracked the foods I've eaten and how much water I've drank and guess what ~ I'm already feeling better! Not bloated, not as achy and yes a little more energy woo hoo! I can only imagine once I start exercising how good I'm going to feel.
If this is what Day 3 feels like, what's Day 30 going to feel like? Yep....I'm Looking Ahead....How About You?

Luckily I was able to spend some time on the SP sight and plan my meals for the next couple of days. Surprisingly enough I had pretty many of these foods here at home already! I just don't know how to use them in different ways because I pretty much stick to the same foods, meals, etc. which gets boring. But, when I take the time to explore recipes I'm often surprised at how easy there are to fix and how yummy they sound. That is my biggest problem when it comes to eating right, I usually pick whatever is easiest and quickest. Being creative when it comes to food is something I am not. I find the time energy for so many other things, why not food, which is so important. Guess I'll learn, think it will be fun!
Once I figured out what foods were within the meal plans and what we all would eat (yes, I changed many things in each meal plan and switched some things around) I printed out the grocery list. That list is awesome, everything is so organized!
Heading to the store to buy some yummy food today!

I could sit here and think If Only I would have stuck to the program I would have reached my goal, clothes would fit and look better, I would have more energy, etc., etc.,
That would only be feeling sorry for myself and starting over with negative thoughts. Not exactly the way you want to start a weight lose program. I have to admit I am struggling with those thoughts this morning and feeling, well, a bit lazy. Then I think ~ what made me log back into the site after all these months? It's not the "If Only" it's the WHAT IF?
What IF I eat better, What IF I exercise more, What IF I become accountable to myself? Ahh, positive thoughts are creeping in and pushing away the negative.
To a new beginning!
