Well Last night the kiddos and I sat down and came up with a basic dinner plan for the next month (I shop just once a month 'cause the nearest grocery store is at least 35 mins away)(Saves on Gas). I've been watching the Food Nanny on BYU TV.com and so borrowed the idea of theme nights. So we've got Monday- Mexican, Tuesday- Italian, Wednesday, Veggie/Seafood, Thursday- Chinese, Friday -Comfort Foods, Saturday- American / Grill, Sunday- Crock pot Dishes.
Anyway now I just need to figure out how to do those dishes low cal, and which sides to put with them. Also I still need to plan out lunches, breakfasts and snacks. But its a start and I've got a good week before I go to the store so I can look at some recipes on the site. So today's goal is to find low cal versions of some of our favorite recipes.
