    I do love the outdoors and I want to do more outside, it's hard when you are physically struggling. But I'll be able to do more as time goes by. I moved here because it's so beautiful. Great neighbors too!

My walks

I told my daughter she could help me choose my page colors today. So she did. I decided that the calorie tracker probably isn't accurate for my walk. I wanted to check the elevations from my walk, because those hills really add some extra umph. Well the lowest elevation was 1345 and the highest elevation was 1500 then I go back down to 1428 and back up to 1445. If I can get the computer to actually upload anything I'll try to upload the video from the top of the hill. Then you guys can see a little of my home and neighborhood.

Camp time

So I took my daughter to camp today, it looks like she is gonna have a great time. Today I weighed myself and I did lose about 3.5 lbs! Woo Hoo! I also lost some inches so the changes I was seeing really were changes and not just my imagination! So I'm pretty happy about all of that.

Exercise and Injuries

So apparently I haven't been stretching my calf well enough (time to break out the ballet workout video-It has the best stretches) Any way last night I was trying to figure out a way to get the cardio I wanted without really using my leg. On SP there is an 11 min seated cardio workout. So I just did that 3 times to get the amount of time I wanted. It was great because I was able to use my good leg and arms and lightly use my bad leg. Just what I needed. I think I'm gonna use it again till my tendon is feeling 100% better.

Small Changes

Monday, June 18, 2012

I've been really noticing a lot of small changes. I've noticed that my huge double chin has "shrunk." And I have been noticing small changes in my waist and thighs. My arms aren't as "jiggly," I don't know what that will mean in weight loss, but seeing these small changes really makes me want to keep going. I weigh in on Wednesday and I hope on that day I'll remember how I'm feeling today.

On the downside, I've injured my alkalies tendon and will need to modify some of my exercises. So that is my challenge for today.
