Here I am again.

Sunday, March 16, 2014

I was doing so well before the holidays came around. I was eating more healthy but got tempted around Thanksgiving & Christmas by all the goodies. Where I work there is always alot of food brought in during the holidays & it is so good & hard to resist. I finally gave in & the rest is history. So Im back where I started. Spring is just around the corner so I need to make myself start walking again. Once I start I always find I actually enjoy it but its just getting motivated to do it especially after working all day. One thing that helps me is walking my dog Abby. She loves to go for walks & I love taking her. We haven't been walking though bc of the cold weather and when it has actually warmed up here lately I am honestly just too tired to go. We have a very big back yard so Abby gets a lot of exercise. I just need to stop making excuses & just do it.

Im almost there! :)

Saturday, January 19, 2013

I haven't weighed myself for a while. To be honest I was afraid that if I gained back some of what I lost I would get discouraged & mess up again. I have really been trying to stick to my goal this time. A few months ago we adopted a german shepherd named Abby & she motivates me to walk with her almost everyday. Sometimes we even run. I can run again & its been a long time since I have been able to do that without feeling like Im going to pass out! Today I finally weighed myself & tried on several clothes I haven't been able to wear in like forever. They fit! Im so happy! emoticon

I can do this!

Monday, October 17, 2011

I woke up yesterday and finally got the courage to weigh myself. I had been trying to watch what I eat but haven't been exercising like I should. I was shocked by what I saw. The scale said 153. I was under the delusion that I was about 146. Wow, what a depressing and humiliating moment. My sister had taken pictures when she came down a couple of weeks ago. In the pics I looked alot bigger then I thought I was. Well I have decided to make some major changes. I am going to join the gym here and also try to walk. I am tired of not being able to fit into my old clothes and tired of feeling like crying when I try on new clothes in the dressing rooms at the mall. Part of me still wants to be able to eat what I want and love myself the way I am. The other part of me wants to tell that part to shut up and be the woman I want to be. I would love to be able to wear a size small again. I would love to look good for my husband but mostly myself again. Iv'e done it before and I know I can do it again. Today is a new day and a new start. I am determined to do this. I know I can do this. :)

Don't give up on yourself. You are the only one that can make it happen for you. You have the power to succeed or fail.

You have chosen to succeed.
